Just make sure you’re aware the outside is glossy. In some pictures you can see it’s glossy, and others look matte.

This is my favorite butter dish ever. I don't like hard butter so I keep my butter out. However, it can get a little melty. In the past, I've had to put a plate under my butter dish so I wouldn't have melted butter on the counter. However, this product resolves that issue! I buy butter from Costco so it hold the large size butters. Really great product.

This is a very nice product, but the cover was scratched when I received it. Not enough to send back as it didn't interfere with the function and I didn't think it would be a deal breaker. Now that I kept it and am using it, it bothers me every time I put it on the table! Make sure to examine your product thoroughly when you receive it.

Purchased this to replace a glass butter dish. I wanted something that was less likely to chip or break, would hold two stick at a time & be attractive on the table. This has done well so far. The lid stays sealed on the keeper, and so far I like the wooden lid/plate (whichever way you use it) for slicing the butter. I have not cleaned it the wooden lid yet, but I believe running it under hot water & a bit of detergent on a cloth or scrubber will do the trick nicely. I would not consider immersing it. This butter keeper was a great choice!

I really like this butter dish for a few reasons. It holds 3 whole sticks of butter 3/4 lb. It really nice looking in the kitchen, i leave my butter out. Very nice bamboo lid, easy to clean and wash by hand. I put 2 whole sticks of butter in the bottom side by side, then take the 3rd stick, cut it in half length wise and put that on top of the bottom sticks side by side. I got the navy blue dish.

Love that it hold more than 1 stick of butter. My only complaint would be that the seal broke after 3 weeks.

Very nice butter dish, unfortunately after the first cleaning the rubber broke off. Thankfully the company provided a spare. It's a very pretty black ceramic dish. It is the perfect fit for a large slab of butter. Easy to use as well.

It's a bit smaller than traditional pack of butter though. We just cut it a little

This has been a great purchase— My family complains about the butter being to hard or turning to liquid “NO MORE” it stays perfect to clean just put into dishwasher (not the lid) when done & cooled add butter & no more issues love ❤️ Love it. Thx D-M

It doesn’t seal the best

The porcelain on the product is nice (so far), but the lid came ridiculously splintered and cracked, which isn't ideal for a food storage container. I went for a more expensive item, cause of the look, but now wish I hadn't paid the extra $10 for a shoddy product. It TECHNICALLY fits a lb. of butter, but isn't deep enough to close without squishing the butter. Never again and will NEVER recommend.
