My wife and I both use these lights for pre-sunrise walks. We walk for about an hour each morning. I set my light to the flashing mode; she keeps hers on solid. The lights are easily visible and overall the item seems well made.There's just one problem: It absolutely eats batteries--strange for an LED light. I calculate each armband has been used perhaps 26 times since purchase, and two days ago, they both simply faded to almost nothing. (Usually with LED lights, if you set it on flash mode, you'll get considerably more life out of it. But both of these died at the same time.)I find it odd that LED lights would consume batteries so quickly. By their nature, LED lights draw less power. They should last longer. That's the whole idea.To make matters worse, each armband takes TWO CR 2032 watch batteries--not just one! At this rate, I'll have burn through 48 batteries to keep both armbands operating for a year. I'm not going to do that. It's wasteful.What really irks me is that we found an LED armband on the street, like, two years ago. Unlike these hard plastic armbands, it's basically constructed of flexible fabric with a light blue light strip inside. It's still running off the battery that was in it when we found it. And guess what? It still works great. I used it yesterday, and I will again today. That's the kind of battery life I was expecting with these.I would not recommend these lights.

The battery compartment is not water proof. Since the battery door is on the inside of the band and not sealed, sweat gets in, corrodes the battery and renders this product completely useless in 2 runs. This is a great idea with poor execution, but until the battery compartments are made watertight, there is no reason to buy this product.

While I always run early mornings with a headlight, the very first thing I noticed when running with these lights on my arm and ankle was that oncoming cars ACTUALLY noticed me running toward them on the roadside and made efforts to give more space between me and them. While I will continue to run against the traffic to better ensure my safety against drivers who don't pay attention to runners or bikers, I feel even more safe running with these lights.

The band is very comfortable but the light is not very bright for exercising in the dark. I feel like people and traffic wouldn't see me coming more then 25 feet away. I wish the light was a lot brighter like the slap bracelets I've used previously.Update, emailed and let iotrevor know I was upset and was sent replacement bands that are much better. Lightweight, bright and comfortable to wear. Exactly what I need for my early morning walks.Update 7/20/17: I have discovered a shortcoming in the design-I live in SW Florida and wear these on bare arms. I perspire heavily. Perspiration gets into the battery compartment and if not dried daily, the batteries rust/corrode, so the lights stop working. Still a great product, but it requires daily maintenance.

I walk back and forth to the bus to get to work in the dark - these lights are fantastic! I've had several other ones over the years, but these are by far the best. (I ordered 2 sets, one in one set didn't work and the other in the set was not as bright as should be, but I was sent a second set - work perfectly.) Great customer service and great lights to make me so very visible. By far the brightest lights I've ever had!

A team of seven of us did a non-stop 220 mile Ruck over 36 hours, of which 24 was in the rain. Each runner wore these at night for safety and they did their job. You could see them a 1/4 mile down the road flashing away. Highly recommend for night running.

I love this light but it will not adjust small enough to stay on a naked arm when I sweat. Love the way it feels.ans the brightness, but when I did a long run early morning this past weekend, it slid down halfway through and I had to attach toy water belt. I am not that small a person as I am 5'5 125lbs with toned, not skinny arms, so I am a little frustrated This could be a great light for me if it for.
