I bought these to add LED lighting to my 3D printer. The printer supplies 24v, LEDs require 5v, so buck converter to the rescue. The converter works great, although the first one I used came out of the bag broken. It had to arrive that way because I separated the module outside the bag, but the broken part was at the bottom of the bag. For what they do, these are really inexpensive and easy to use if you are okay soldering. If you aren't, don't worry, the solder pads are plenty big and isolated from any heat sensitive components. I had no problem getting the voltage set to 5.06v. You can't get it exact, but that is plenty close to what I needed.If one didn't arrive broken, I would have given this 5 stars.

Nice little buck converter fro Arduino projects.. Be sure to connect your input voltage source and then adjust for the output voltage before connecting your Arduino or other chosen component.

Thought I had caught a great deal - the description says 80 pack! 8 Arrived. Annoying, but a decent deal anyway, and I run through these like crazy. They look like pretty standard LM2596's.Please fix the description.

The LED on the last pack I got were all very bright blue. I like that I can tell the voltage regulator is active from low earth orbit. The previous batch I got required turning the screw maybe 20 times before they started regulating, this batch regulates from the first turn. If you think the ones you got are bad, just keep turning.

Even before what they promised, I did receive the itemes before the planned delivery date. Products totally within published specs. Excllent purchasing experience.
