When The Chair Matters
Waited a long time to buy this and weighed many options but kept coming back to the 305. If you are on the fence about which model to buy, this should be high on the list. The adjustable arms alone are worth the cost. If, for some reason, a cushion gets added to the seat, you will want to adjust the arms to accommodate shoulder height. I could not believe the immediate difference in posture from the cheaper regular chair to this one. Plus the wheels are angled properly for easy rolling making all the difference for any caregiver who pushes the chair. Right out of the box the chair fit someone about 5'5" tall without any adjustments. The factory seat height is 19" and that worked perfectly. It's a pretty spendy chair but worth every penny for not only comfort, but weight - it's so much lighter than most chairs, but still sturdy. There is a little pouch in the back of the chair but we added the Karman back pouch for larger items. The footrests not only swing out but swing under the chair which makes getting them out of the way pretty easy. You can't fold the chair with them swung under the seat, but that's a small thing to remember. They also come off with a simple click. We tried out many chairs and found ourselves coming back to this one each time. It's solid, steady and well put together. It comes with a small set of tools to handle most adjustments. Also, Karman has plenty of parts on their web page should you need those. Plus if you call them, they can generally answer questions, depending on who you get on the phone - I've had great luck and really bad luck. Overall, this is a perfect out-of-the-box wheelchair. Easy to use, easy to push, comfortable to sit in and promotes good posture.

Amazing Chair!!!
I bought this chair for my 81yo Mom; she spends about 90% of her day in a wheelchair sadly, and can be very VERY picky. She, and I, adore this chair. She says it is very comfortable, easy to maneuver, loves the flip up arms and the adjustable everything (seat height, arm rests, leg rests, brake levers, to name a few), and thinks it's quite attractive. The S curved seat is odd at first, but so very very comfortable to her. She no longer complains of back pain from sitting in the chair for long periods.I adore how light and compact it is. I can easily fold and lift it with one hand- and muscular, I am not. The leg rests pop on and off very very easily, and allow the legs to hang down naturally without sticking out and running into things. The front wheels take thresholds and move from hard surfaces to softer ones (like carpet and grass) like a dream. Also, the brakes hold amazingly well; no more having to worry about the chair moving while I transfer her from chair to bed or car.My only regret is that I didn't buy a Karman Wheelchair sooner. This wheelchair is so well made and well thought out it is hard to explain, I cannot recommend it enough!!! Best analogy? It is like going from a Honda Accord to a Mercedes E class. :)

Very nice, and well built!
Just received this today. Have run it through the paces. I like the way everything snaps together and can be taken apart the same way. It is very light and sturdy too. I have been struggling moving around with a cane for the past year and my knees have only gotten worse. Now I can run around in this with no pain at all. Very maneuverable, and can squeeze into places that didn't seem possible. I'm not sure what I will say a year from now, but as of today very satisfied with the build quality, wheels that are well balanced, (not out of round) and removable. Very sturdy and quiet. Expensive, but well worth the price. Very happy with this purchase!

Good chair, but Replacement Parts Are Nowhere to Be Found
I'll start by saying what I like about this chair. It is well-built and lightweight. My previous chair was heavy and uncomfortable, hurting my back. This chair relieves that strain and is lighter, which makes transporting easier. It has some very well thought out touches, such as rear step-levers that make it easy for someone pushing you to assist you up a step or ledge. It has adjustable armrest height. And additionally the entire armrest can also flip-up and out of the way which has come in very handy in some situations. The cushions are anti-bacterial as well, and the entire chair is very well designed.NOW HERE IS THE MAIN ISSUE:This chair is *very* difficult to find replacement parts for! This may not seem like a big thing at first, but as you use the chair over time, the armrests will wear, and things will become loose and wear down with time, and you will want / need to have them replaced. This is when you will discover as I have, that there is no real place to buy any replacement parts for this chair. I have been to Karman Healthcare's website. They show you all the parts, and there is indeed a "shopping cart" at the top-right, however you will find that there is no way to actually add any of those parts to your cart!I have contacted them twice via the e-mail link (their contact form doesn't actually work!) and after two and a half-weeks received a response telling me to contact them to order! What was I doing before? Day-dreaming?!I also visited all of their reseller sites (of which Amazon is one) They sell the chairs, but not the parts, To me it seems like overkill to have to buy another complete chair just for the parts. In-fact the only place I have found to buy some (not all) of the replacement parts is eBay, and the prices are absurd! So in closing, I like the chair itself, but when things need to be replaced, it becomes a real pain indeed. Keep that in mind.
