Beyond belief!
To be fair, I have to say that I have an unusally strong sense of smell, and allergies to boot. With that said, I must say in my opinion, this product reeks!(It contains Turpentine!) I had to wash my hands 5 times in very hot water to even begin to get the smell off! That is only part of the low rating, for it soaked into my clothing, my wife''s sweater where I also put it, and the odor is permeating the room! We have used it only one time, and do not notice any relief, only the stink, which I hope can come out of the clothes in the washer! I will never use it again, and hope I can return it.

Expired in JUNE 2014!!!! - BOUGHT IN SEPTEMBER 2015
The product I got was NOT as pictured in the photo. I have a tub of Artrex and I love it and wanted to order more. The tube I got was manufactured in Jul of 2011 and expired in 2014!!!! It's over a year past the expiration date. I have been unable to go through the return process yet as each time I try it says the site is unavailable and that they are working on the problem.

Really old fashioned remedy, but it does help
This product contains turpentine which is really just an essential oil of pine resin. I remember when I was a kid everyone used turpentine for arthritis. They also put it on cuts and wounds. Well it's true you don't want to eat a lot of turpentine or smell it, or be all in it often, it does have medicinal value and is fairly safe when used topically, especially if you just use it over a joint or two. I don't hesitate to use it. I wouldn't bathe in it, but I'll put it on a painful joint. This comes boxed, and clearly labeled with a batch number manufacturers date and an expiration date. Mine is good for 8 months out. I will use it long before then. It's full of essential oils that also include camphor, mint, Ginger oil, eucalyptus, cinnamon oil, lemongrass oil, all of Wintergreen, Rose oil, thymol, and it has a cream base. it doesn't say what the cream base is.The product also has an inner, foil seal.It smells of Wintergreen, camphor, thyme and cinnamon to me. The smell is not as strong as some commercial products and I don't find it disagreeable at all.The cream is thick and rubs in easily. It works good for my knee arthritis. I don't find it burns my skin on my knee, but it does burn the palms of my hands a bit. This is a good one to put on with gloves! It just makes my knee feel a bit warmer, not hot. Of course some people have more sensitive skin than others, and mine is not very sensitive at all. I don't find it this burns though, only warms pleasantly.

Smells good and pretty nice alternative
I didn’t mind using this. I found for general soreness (not deep muscle issues) that this was a nice cream to use. The scent is pleasant the mild ( i stress mild) pain relief is there. Very good absorption into the skin and no odd residue or stains left on clothing.Overall, this is a very nice alternative, my grandmother, who has very delicate skin found this offered her the best relief without harming her, She is 93, and often pain relief creams burn her skin and this did not. I personally did have as great results as her but anything that helps her will always get 5 stars

Works well, but smells a bit
This stuff works pretty well. The cream is a little thick, so it doesn't absorb as well as I'd like. It also has a VERY strong scent that is lasting and can be off-putting. It works pretty well on my knees and lower back to relieve pain fairly quickly (within about 10 minutes) and it lasts for about 2 hours or so. Overall, it works.
