I have been ordering these for years and this particular flavor pairs with any wine, not just champagne (which I don't even drink). This wafer enhances the flavor of wine, particularly Merlot and Pinot Noir. The idea is to use to break off a bite, place in mouth and sip the wine, let it seep into the wafer ultimately dissolving it then swallow. It is amazing! Enjoy these as they are hard to get!

Delicious. Reminds us of being in French every Sunday morning as we enjoy this with cheese and fruit. Of course the champagne makes them taste even better.

Everyone from my conservative Midwest relatives to elderly parents loved these wine wafers, so much so that all the Xmas stocking stuffer gift recipients asked for details on ordering more of these wafers. My relatives commented on how the design is ornate, the scent is captivating, and the taste is both delicate and divine - exactly how I felt the first time I had them!

I have yet to eat one of these great tasting wafers while drinking champagne. While they may be something great to eat with champagne, my wife and I love them just they way they are. We are hooked.

This wafer is in very cute package. However, in my opinion, it contains few cream inside and could not feel it tasty. If combined with champagne, the taste became better but not very good. As I may give this as a gift to couple or family including non-drinker, I wanted this wafaer taste good without champagne.

These are delicious….with wine! Not too sweet! Great to have on hand for company as well as yourself!
