You will LOVE it!!!
Bought these for a birthday party. I purchased enough for everyone to do one.. it was a girls party - the girls LOVED them. I remember doing these growing up - of course they had never seen them. I baked them before they left. they still have them. Everyone still talks about how much fun they had at the party and the sun catchers. Definitely get these if you are considering it.

Easy and fun!
While reading my Granddaughters “Spirit” I found this cute craft. We made it and my two little horse enthusiasts had a blast. It now hangs in the window so they can see it.

Fun project.
I remember doing these with my grandma when I was younger so when i saw this, i had to buy it. Was mostly happy with it. The plastic didnt melt as expected though. Was in the oven for an hour but was still globby in spots. Still turned out cute though.

A little tricky .
These are great. Just like the ones I had growing up. The only issues we had was trying to keep the frame in place while you put the glass pieces where you want them. The slightest movement would cause a piece to get under the frame and then we would have to start all over again if we couldn't get the piece out. Multiple tries to keep it level plus It's hard to hold down and try to help a little one place the pieces. Still better than those painted ones out now that fade!

Positive response despite mixed messages
Again... from our five year old: it makes me happy because I get to cook it.My thoughts: cooking a horse isn't... something i was necessarily prepared for and sure does open up a lot of topics from food safety practices to the ethical treatment of animals. Life was simpler when horses were sent to 'a farm' to be made into glue. This has you putting a horse in the oven. Creepy... but she loved it... so it gets five stars and her glowing review. I just thought other parents may want to be prepared for the existential crisis it may open up for you.

Nice but not perfect.
My son and I made this as a birthday gift for him to my wife. Both he and I got very frustrated with it and in the end I had to finish it by myself. The metal part was not flat when it came, so the beads would slip under the dividing bars and get all mixed up. I ended up flatening it the best I could, which helped, but in the end I had to use one had to hold the frame completely flat against the baking sheet while filling the beads with the other hand. That worked but was very time consuming. I remember making these as a kid, but I don't remember having the same problems with the fram. The finished product looked great though, so the time was well spent. I just wish that it had been flat to begin with.

Best for kids 5+
I bought this for a 4 year olds birthday. It has a LOT of little pieces. I didn't realize that when purchasing it. I think the child should probably be at least 5 years old to use it and would need adult help. Very cute though!

Super fun!
My son and I had a ball making this. It worked well and came with more than enough little pieces to fill the spaces. Just follow the instructions and it makes a cute sun catcher for the window.

but the end result was fantastic! Very pleased
This took a bit of time and you had to be really careful because of all the tiny pieces, but the end result was fantastic! Very pleased.
