Drayton Hall Counted Cross Stitch Kit is a fine needlework design from the Posy Collection. The Kit depicts a museum property in Charleston, South Carolina that is part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Built between 1738 and 1742, Drayton Hall is one of the finest examples of Georgian-Palladian architecture in America. Its signature feature is the 2-story portico, believed to be the first in the country. This property remains in nearly original condition and is the only Ashley River plantation house to survive the Civil War intact. You can visit the property for a glimpse of bygone Southern life, or preserve the story in stitches with this pretty counted cross stitch kit. Finished size 10.25 x 7 inches on 14 count Charles Craft fabric.
