Surpassed my EXPECTATIONS
I loved the material, the cover made of this rubber material is so practical, 3 different lenghts and it protects your lenses so good without it being so large. Its collapsible so it takes very little room.My other hood is great too but im definitely going to be looking out for this type of hoods. Arrived in mint condition.

Great and not great things about these hoods
I purchased this lens hood for aย YONGNUO YN35mm F2 Lens 1:2 AF / MF Wide-Angle Fixed/Prime Auto Focus Lens For Nikon DSLR Cameras ย that I intend to use often with my Nikon D700. The only reason for me to buy it was because the recommended hood for this lens went up over $10 in a couple of days, and this one looked like a good deal (two hoods for the price of one). Well... there are some pros and cons, and the jury is still out. One of the hoods is a collapsible, rubber thing that has three positions: completely down, half-way, and fully extended. If it's used in the fully extended position it causes some annoying vignetting (which I feared), but in the middle, the vignetting disappears. However, one must be wary about it because the inside of the hood seems slightly shiny. Then comes the tulip shaped hood, which has a front that can be lined up so that the petals are in a pius-sign position. First, it's a bit difficult to make the thread pitches meet and screw the hood, and once they get together, they're very tight. Since the tulip hood is smaller, the chances of vignetting are lower, but they're still there. That's my reason for the four-star review. Otherwise I'd give it a 5-star rating.I am planning on using the rubber hood for now, because it's flexible and it may not break easily. The tulip hood looks definitely cooler and interesting, but since I'm on the side of practicality, I'll see the results I get from using the rubber hood. If I find myself having to adjust it constantly because it's been collapsed all the way in, I may reverse my decision and use the plastic hood. We'll see... I have some months to evaluate before revisiting this review and writing my update.

Collapsible is a great hood other than it's a screw on. I rarely ever use the tulip, not reversible or cap friendly. Good Value
Both hoods are screw on which is a total pain, I'll never understand why anyone makes hoods that don't snap in how the name brand hoods do, they All should. They are cheap quality but that is to be expected for the price. They get the job done which is all you really need. I rarely ever use the tulip hood as it is NOT reversible and feels pretty flimsy, not to mention you can't put a lens cap on while you have the tulip on which makes it practically useless for me.The collapsible hood is actually pretty good, I like that there are three different positions you can use with it and the matte coloring seems like it works better than the shiny black plastic of the tulip. The collapsible is reversible which is nice when you need the space in your bag or just don't want the hood in the way, and the lens cap will fit with the hood on which is great. All in all for the price these hoods do what they are supposed to. The screw on functionality is annoying but they do screw on fairly easily and stay on. The collapsible hood is the better of the two and by far, you can use a lens cap with it on, it is reversible, it has three positions to use, and it has a nice matte color which I prefer to shiny plastic. The tulip is not reversible, you cannot use a lens cap with it, it has a bit of shine to it, and it feels pretty flimsy. Stick with the collapsible and you'll be happy with your purchase and your wallet will appreciate the money you save with these hoods.

Nice package of items
When I started buying DSLR cameras and modern lenses, one of the innovations that I liked was the lens hood that attaches to the front of a lens using a bayonet-style mount and can be mounted backwards for storage. This kind of hood is very convenient in many ways especially if a lens won't fit into a camera bag with the hood on the front of the lens. The hard plastic of the modern lens hood feels more substantial, and I generally like these new hoods.I recently purchased a lens that doesn't have the mount for this style of lens hood, and I needed to find the old style of hood that screws onto the filter threads. The rubber lens hood of this set works this way and is just like the hoods that I used long ago. These hoods are not without advantages. When the lens is on a camera and the camera is in a bag, the lens hood folds back easily. The camera can be brought out and the lens hood popped forward for a quicker shot than would be possible reversing a hard plastic hood with a bayonet mount. The rubber hood moves easily as rubber should, so anything bumping the hood won't send a jolt up the camera. Most of us will stay with the modern hoods, but I like knowing this product remains available when needed. The tulip flower hood is interesting. I'd never seen one of these made to screw onto a filter. The hood has two parts so that one can do most of the tightening and then keep the tulip "petals" in a particular position but finish tightening with the other piece. I haven't used this one, but the idea is neat. The addition of a microfiber cleaning cloth makes the deal a bit sweeter. We live in a world where we always need these cloths to clean one thing or another. Obviously, the point of this one is to clean a camera lens, but anyone can use an extra cloth.

A Fine pair of additions to camera accessories
I use both of these on a Fuji SL1000 wit a filter adapter and both work great. The tulip hood shows some vignetting with lens un-zoomed; sometimes a simple twist works to correct, but mostly I zoom slightly and that corrects the problem. All in all, I am very pleased with the set and will give them a full work out on my next photo outing.

More testing needed to improve design
The hard hood installed ok but my canon lens cap fits so tight that it is impossible to remove without using a pointy lever to pry it off. I haven't used the soft hood yet.

Not a perfect fit but it works

Fit perfect at a way lower price than the brand names
Fit perfect at a way lower price than the brand names. One downside, you can't thread anything to the front of the flower lens hood which I think you can do with some.
