The advertisement makes it look like a hologram but it is just a flat plastic piece of plastic with the image sketched on it & the whole thing lights up, making the actual image details difficult to see. It works off of batteries or plugs in, but the first time we removed the plug to check if batteries worked, something broke inside the product, making it impossible to ever use the plug again.

When I got it it worked great for what I wanted it to do. Then after about three uses the remote stopped working. Then the on/off, switch color button on the base stopped working. Then the device stopped working and I trashed it. All within two months. DO NOT BUY.

I took 2 stars off because it doesn't have a sleep timer. The colors, brightness, effect, design, and base are all very well done. This was a night light for my 6yo star wars fan. It would get 5 stars if this had a sleep timer where it turns off after an hour or 2. But if we're not using it as a night light, it's perfect!

My motocross loving 4yr old LOVED this lamp. He always has it on and we haven't had any issues. It comes with a remote control where you can change the settings if you'd like a specific color light, strobe, fade, etc.Its pretty small but for us it just seemed perfect because it is what my son loves!

You can see the white silhouette all the time. The remote broke after two times, but the unit will light up. You just have to pick a solid color by using the base of the product.

Nice but very very small cheaply made all it is a small round black base an plastic elephant that slides on it very small not worth the money

Purchased as a gift and the recipient really liked it. Perfect for someone who loves elephants. Very soothing visual and not too big.

The remote doesn’t work out of the box I’m guessing the battery in it was depleted. I’ll check the colors after I get a new battery.
