Blue Sea Systems Terminal Fuses

Its almost impossible to see if the thing is blown or not. A fellow sailor came by with one he replaced after he trouble shot the loss of voltage on his boat. He handed it to me and I could not tell that it was blown. He said he took it to work and put it under a microscope and he said that it had a very small chevron shape gap in it.It would be great to have an indicator that would show positively when its blown.

These terminal fuses are great to ensure safety with the RV's battery system. Fuses should be as close as possible to the battery and there is no place closer than the battery's terminals! We have a "disaster fuse" on the negative and two fuses on the positive - one for the converter line and another for the power from the tow vehicle. They also have a clean way to protect two separate lines on one terminal.

I use these to protect the Lithium Iron batteries in my RV. I have one on each battery before they connect together.
