Very sturdy very safe design electrically
I am using this switch base in a Tiffany style lamp. It fits right in with the design and is very sturdy. The shade was never this stable using a wire harp style unit. It was easy to install and I was particularly impressed with the way it isolated the wire hook up points making a potential short much less likely to ever happen. In addition, the Bakelite Material it is made from is itself an insulator. It does not rely on a paper sleeve to completely isolate the live wires. The wires are attached in an area of the switch that totally contains the live wires.

No surprise
Arrived on time. I think maybe even earlier then expected. Received exactly what was shown and described. It’s a lamp shade holder. So nothing to be excited about. Except the overall good service by vendor.

Works perfectly
Exactly what I needed to convert my lamp to accommodate a new lampshade with a spider top. Very easy to install.

Not as sturdy as I would have liked
These are a little bit flimsy. Otherwise, they work as intended

Way too big
The media could not be loaded. the hole in the bottom is massive. The instructions that come to with it show it slipping over the threaded tube that the light assembly is mounted to. This thing falls right past that and half way down the neck of the wine bottle, its big enough that the only thing stopping it from coming off is the bulb itself. It easily slides over the entire socket. Its completely useless.
