I seem to either keep breaking stem caps by over-tightening them, or just losing them for no reason, both on my cars and bikes. I was originally considering metal caps so they wouldn't break so often. But after reading a few horror stories of metal caps seizing, I settled on these plastic ones.They seem well made and I haven't broken any yet. I also can't argue with the price. These should last me at least a few years.

A necessary item if you own a car or truck if you don’t want to damage your tire valves with dirt and grime. I personally like the looks of the metal valve caps more but use the plastic to insure no corrosive action between the valve stem and metal cap. Most people don’t realize that this can happen if the metal caps are removed on occasion so least I forget to remove and clean, I use the plastic type. And, yes, fir the price you don’t get upset if they get lost!

I got these because I just bought a new (used) car and it came with no valve caps. My tire parts drawer had an assortment of used valve caps but I wanted nice new ones and these fit the bill. They were very inexpensive and were delivered quickly. These are plastic with a tiny rubber seal at the bottom of the cap, and seemed a little cheap (as expected), but are adequate and did the job. I'm happy with my purchase, and now I have a bunch of spare valve caps that I'll never use up.

Product description said they had a red rubber o-ring (although picture seems to indicate black) but none had such an o-ring.Probably better to pay an extra dollar and take your chances with another brand.

They do a good job of what they were made to do. It was cheaper to get a package of 40 Tire Valve Caps then buying a package of 4 at the auto parts store. This way I always have extras.

With four cars and three bikes we constantly use these. Always good to have on hand. Great bang for the buck.
