Im-PRESS-ive!
Tried to buy the rectangular one, was sent the round. Returned and bought again: got another round. Got a refund, but was allowed to keep the press! So a free press to make paninis? You got it! Itโs a basic product, so not much that can go wrong with it (other than receiving the wrong item). Otherwise, works great and helps feed my panini addiction. I trust it will feed a burger addiction just as well. Want to squish something youโre cooking? You canโt go wrong with this one. Especially when itโs cheaper than the competitors! Grill on, dudes!

Love the size and weight!
This is a great size for steak, chicken and two burgers - highly recommend!

Good easy to use product.
Sturdy construction (cast iron), handle keeps cool while on top of the meats and it is easy to clean. So far, has been a great product when Iโm grilling.

Great for smash burgers on the blackstone griddle. Wish it flat, Utah it gets the job done.

Recommend wood handle!!!
Wood handle gets hot, so use pot holder. Cannot imagine how hot a metal handle would be. Very happy with purchase.

Nice and heavy but, no grill marks.

Big and heavy
A really good steak press but alas too big for my two large (Lodge 10.5 inches square and same company Lodge 10.25 round) cast iron griddle pans, so be VERY AWARE BEFORE YOU BUY THAT IT'LL FIT IN YOUR FRY OR GRIDDLE PANS It'll work great on bar b cue though so I'll keep it and order the round version of this steak press that should fit my pans no problem.p.s i wash new cast iron then immediately put it on a low/medium hob heat to dry no use of towels or anything else,as soon as they dry turn off the hob let then cool for around 2 hours then rub any oil with a high smoke point into the pan or steak weight with your fingers (I use rapeseed or groundnut oil } never had any rust problems on my hand me downs decades old pans ,hope this helps .

Surprisingly effective addition to the kitchen
I bought this on the recommendation from a friend for cooking steak. It helps to keep a consistent and tight contact of the meat to the pan and helps develop a crust quickly without overcooking the interior of the meat. Works just as well on burgers too - but take care that your meat has width to it.. so small a burger means that you're balancing, rather than pressing and that will give uneven results.The downsides? The handle get hot at the ends, as you'd expect - you can fix this with a silicone oven mitt though. At this price you're looking at practicality over innovation.

Burger Press
A really well made product that helps food cook well and quicker, tend to use it more on my 18oz steaks to get a nice finish out side and still fresh in the centre.
