Good darn lock--- app needs work, need to lock from app also
It is great, works great, lock is strong---the app is something else---Bluetooth works sometime and not other times---only unlock from the app, not lock-- need to have lock feature in app

Buyer beware
I would not buy this lock. I have had it for two weeks and the key pad has froze up at least 10 times and you have to use the key to get in. The app will only let you unlock the door not lock it. What a waste of money and time.

It's definitely champion in budget electronic locks but lacks multiple things !!
The media could not be loaded. I have Schlage Connect Smart Lock for my front door and was looking for another number lock for my garage entrance door which doesn't cost that much. On sorting from low to high price, ended up with this one.I would like to compare this one with the high-end model which I own to derive on my ratings.Pros:- It looks too good for the price- It came for 1/4th price than the Schlage lock which I have- Comes with all hardware and even some extras- Build quality is good overall- Manual is very detailed and comes with multiple leafletsCons:- It doesn't have wifi/Bluetooth connectivity, so it can't be locked remotely. Take it for the keypad feature otherwise go for other models- The setup process is not so breeze. A lot of directions to read while installing. Schlage one was too easy to install- The backplate was dirty out of the box, not sure why and howI had an issue with the lock where it behaves abruptly on closing via number lock. Contacted the manufacturer and they were prompt with the response. They have a 1-year warranty.

Good Product Lousy Tech support
I ordered the product over a month ago and haven't had a chance to install until the 6th week due to away from home. That is where the trouble came in when you received a defective product. It passed Amazon returned period and manufacture tech support find all kinds of excuses to process RMA. Fortunately, seller: better choice online & Amazon Representative Grace made exception to send me a replacement. It worked like a charm.As a reward, I'd like to share my experience with the future buyer. The first thing you open up the box, make sure the product you received is working. how?Insert power cable connector into the connector of the inside unit.Install the 4 AA batteries; should hear a beep.Insert key to turn the latch pin horizontally before you connect into the inside unit.Recommend to sandwich a 2x4 wood between 2 units (outside & inside). press both units against the wood for easy testing.Press the lock bottom on the key pad; should hear "locked".Key in 123456 then press unlock bottom; should hear "open". otherwise, return the product. Don't bother calling 855 toll free number listed in the menual. They are useless and get you aggravated.Now, you are ready to install both units and test it out with the door open.The last step will be tested with door closed. I hope it works at this stage otherwise like me I have to modify or chisel out bigger & deeper hole in order to use strike box and plate came with the package.I hope these tips will be helpful for future buyers. They made so easy to program the codes & APP.

Was good for a few months
This lock worked well for the first few months but lately it’s not even usable. I’ll put fresh batteries in it - expensive lithium ones, rechargeable a, regular batteries - and it works a day or two then just randomly beeps. Sometimes a single beep every few minutes, other times multiple beeps as if someone is using the keypad. Resetting hasn’t worked. I’m back to using the keys which defeats the purpose. I’m ready to uninstall. I had horrible luck with a lesser brand, my boyfriend had this one and I was hoping to have had an issue free existence with it but that hasn’t been the case. Really not happy.***edit***seller is amazing and made it right - better and faster than going directly through TurboLock even. Problem solved expeditiously and satisfactorily!

Faulty and cheap.
Ordered 2 and neither worked. First one we installed worked for 4 days then the keypad just died. The 2nd one just kept spinning and would not lock or unlock as the mechanism inside just spun. Both were obviously previously used also as the plastic protection was scraped off in places. Terrible. I ended up with a normal $50 keypad from the local hardware store instead.

Better suited for people without small children.
I purchased this to replace a smart lock we had before. Fairly easy installation, just remember to keep the deadbolt out while installing. Was able to chat with customer service and get help with installation. The app is kind of annoying because the Bluetooth connection wouldn’t stay connected. I don’t believe you can lock the door with the app either. I only had it in my door for a couple of days before my 2 year old managed to unlock the door. This lock doesn’t have that reassuring “click” that lets you know the lock is secured and it also doesn’t offer an auto-lock feature. I did like the feature where you can enter random numbers to disguise your actual code and the lock announcing the door is locked and unlocked. As far as user notifications, I didn’t see all the times I locked and unlocked the door using the keypad so I guess it only applies to e-keys.

Do buy this unit. Garbage
Initial had a problem when locking that it would lock and unlock over and over. Customer service said might be a blockage and I should disassemble and reassemble which I did and everything worked fine, unfortunately periodically the whole unit goes dead so than I take a couple of the batteries out and it come back to life. So when it works it is great but certainly a problem when it stops I got this about 3 months ago and had initial problems with it opening and closing over and over again, customer service said something jamming unit and to uninstall and reinstall, after doing that twice I got it to work, then about once or twice a week I had to remove and reinstall batteries as United acted dead, got tired of doing that I decide to put a different lock on this door and was goingg to move this to a less often used door. While reinstalling on new door encountered the opening and closing repeatedly problem again. After trying to tweet this for well over an hour I gave up, if I could return this I would but I have had it too long now. Do NOT abut this, Item.
