SplendidWomen's Crewneck Modal Jersey Short Sleeve Tee

Was looking for something that would drape the curves of an attractive body. It does that well. Would have liked it to be slightly more sheer but that's a personal aesthetic. Nice tee; especially for the price.

I'm a bit indifferent about this t-shirt from Splendid. I've been having a wonderful affair with their other pieces but perhaps the honeymoon is over with this one.Bottom line, it's a good tee but overpriced.Love the fabric. It's a nice blend of 50% Supima (premium American cotton) and 50% micro modal. It's softer than the average tee but not ecstatically soft like some of their other blends or knits. It's quite lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Thin but not terribly, and perfectly passable with a nude bra underneath.I'm not digging the sleeves. I like the general idea of shorter cap-style sleeve but these flare a bit and make the profile look a bit too loose which is incompatible with the cut. I really liked it at first but it tends to relax with body heat and laundering, and loses a bit of the initial structure. It also feels a bit big for a size small on me at 36/31/41 and 5'2". I was hoping for a more fitted look.The general shape is feminine with a smaller waist and a curved hem. The neckline is a nice perfect round.Overall, this is a a bit of a contradiction between the structured feminine cut and the relaxed fabric. It's nice and comfy but just doesn't feel as special as their other 'special-priced' garments. I do like it. However I wouldn't pay more than $25 max for this tee.

Runs large

This is my wife’s first Splendid top, but she’s fashion savvy and well aware of the brand’s fine reputation. Fortunately for the collective family pocketbook, she’s also savvy and not impulsive when it comes to savings. Although this is absolutely not bargain basement priced, this tee is a cut above. And not really a “typical t-shirt,” either. Note the shorter than typical tee sleeves and flattering cut more descriptive of a beautiful blouse. The fabric choices are luxurious: 50% pima cotton, (the softest!) and 50% modal for a smooth look and easy care. Elegant and versatile in the beautiful black pictured.

Wore my shirt once, did not wash it and a hole in the middle of the shirt appeared.

This may look like just a simple black t-shirt but it is the best fitting, most comfortable t-shirt I have ever had!! I love cute but simple comfy shirts and this definitely fits the bill. Could be dressed up or worn casually. I ordered a size small which is my usual size (I am 5'6, 125 pounds) and it fits me perfectly. It's fitted in all the right places and not fitted in all the right places. The material is soft and stretchy but not too stretchy. It's the perfect length. My new favorite tee! Would Definitely recommend.
