On over-priced screen protector
I was really looking forward to finding something to help my sleep after reading the countless articles about how harmful blue light from my iPad was when I use it at night. I ordered the iPad filter from SleepShield. What a mistake that turned out to beIt turns out I cannot tell what amount, if any, blue light this over-rated piece of clear plastic was blocking. My iPad screen looks exactly the same with or without the SleepShield in place. To be honest, I don't think the SleepShield blocks any blue light whatsoever. I read on the SleepShield website that blue light will somehow bend away from my eyes. How on earth the material knows where my eyes are located is beyond me. Their website also says that the screen appearance won't change while the SleepShield is being used. I guess that much is true because I see the blue light coming from my iPad while the SleepShield is in place but that's what I'm trying to prevent. The SleepShield is an absolute ripoff!I ended up purchasing an iPad filter from LowBlueLights.com and couldn't be happier. I don't think I've ever slept better. Their Zzz iPad filter attaches in seconds and there's no question it blocks all the blue light from my screen. There's no glue so I can put it on and take it off when I want and possibly the coolest feature, it comes with a storage pouch for when it's not being used. The LowBlueLights filter is exactly what I was looking for. I really wish I had found this first before wasting my money on the ridiculous SleepShield.Save your money folks and do not buy the SleepShield unless you're looking for an overpriced screen protector.

Filter does not function as claimed.....
This "filter" does not work as claimed. Using a spectrometer, I analyzed all the light sources in my household to see which emit the spectrum of blue light that interferes with melatonin production by the body. I was disappointed to find that this filter for the IPad Air does not filter out blue light as advertised. I will be asking for a refund.
