I am not sure how there are so many 5 star reviews for this book. It’s very odd. I have a few reasons for leaving this review.1- about half of the pictures are too blurry to make out the actual knots in the photos.2- All of the photos in the book are black and white which would be fine except for the fact that in the instructions they refer to items in photos by referencing the color.3- Spelling mistakes.4- There is a random project in the middle of the book on how to make a cedar bath mat. This project does not have anything to do with macrame, and rope is not even one of the supplies for the project.I am returning this book.

Crafts are about color and texture. Getting a craft book printed on cheap paper with black and white photos, takes all the fun out of looking at the projects and getting excited to try one. The photos are blurry, with little contrast, making it impossible to get what they are trying to show you. The typeface is larger than it needs to be. Book won’t lie flat and open. And at least in my case, the book reeks of chemicals.

First beware if you just download the sample there is a very deceptive button that says "click here to buy, the cheapest clothesline I found". But instead of taking you there you've automatically purchased the book. Very sneaky.The first project listed was the one I really wanted to make (wall hanging) but the directions for that are very vague because it was included in the sample part of the book.Each chapter read not like a continuation but more like a single excerpt copied from somewhere else.One section was for tiny egg plant hangers that was supposed to be decoration for Easter but she mentioned Christmas twice.Inconsistent with measurements, some are inches and yards, preferred. Some was meters and centimeters.Overall the projects are interesting and enticing but with the cost involved I'm hesitant to trust her instructions given to make a large project, just because of the way the book was written, hurried, messy and incomplete.

I am very satisfied with this book. This is really an excellent book. In this book you can find outstanding, beautiful Do-It-Yourself projects for macramé that even kids can make. Author also include 34 practical projects: wall hanging macramé, toilet paper holders, plant hangers, and much, much more. By this book you can learn basic knots tutorials that you can use in future projects as well and much, much more exclusive content that you will not find anywhere else! I really like this book and would recommend any one who need such type of information.

This book just wasn't what I expected. Most of the patterns are for wall hangings, only a couple of plant hangers, one of which is a wall hanging. it also gives directions for a toilet paper hanger, which is no more than a dowel with some twine holding it, and a wooden bathmats that has no macrame and requires some minamal woodworking skills. if you're looking for something with plant hangers, don't stop here!

This book looks like it was printed on a home printer that needs ink. The pictures (all grayscale) are so faint that one cannot make out the details which are necessary to be able to successfully learn the techniques presented. There is nothing new in this book. All techniques could be found on the internet, but I like to have a book to look at to craft comfortably away from a computer. I should have returned this one but procrastinated too long and missed the deadline.

When I recieved the book it had been printed in black and white with blurry photographs in it. The book looked like it had been copied with a copier and added a original book cover to it. The sample that I saw on Amazon books had color photographs in it. I bought the book to learn how to macrame. I am returning the book because of poor quality.

There is absolutely no color in this book besides black and white. Totally disappointed. A definite return.

I never leave reviews but I’m just so disappointed by this. I’m gutted I didn’t look at the other reviews first because other people had already warned exactly what to expect. I’m so disappointed. The pages and photos are such poor quality! It’s basically been printed straight from a website or something as there are sections that say ‘click HERE’!? Or see my video below. A complete shambles and SO disappointing!! It looks like there are some ok ideas but really not worth it, what I spent on this I would have rather spent on another book that probably would of been 10 times better for the same price. I would NOT recommend buying this.

If i could, i wouldn't even give this book 1 star. Really poor quality, blury black and white photographs and does not show full sized photos of finished projects so you know what youre making. Not good for beginners and too simple for people who have been doing macrame for a while. Not all of the projects are even macrame! (See photos above). With the amount of good quality macrame books available would definitely not recommend for anyone!

Very disappointed in this book. It is printed entirely in black & white and the photo's of the finished projects are unclear so making it difficult to see what you are supposed to be creating. The paper it is printed on is very thin too.

Dreadful book, paper very thin all in black and white. I brought this for a friend for Christmas and was so embarrassed by the quality I returned it. Waste of money

Dreadful, poor quality pages that look to be photocopies, 4 projects involved no macramé at all. Am returning it.
