Looks good at night great during the day. If you're looking for direct path lighting these are exactly what you're looking for as they really are an area light. For the price they are good to just throw around for some fair accent lighting.

Good, sturdy and well made.Some others complained about the glass breaking in transit. I don't know how that could happen. The glass is thick and secure. Someone complained that the bottom broke. I don't know how that could happen either. I pushed the spike into the ground without any problems. Maybe the person tried to muscle it into very hard dirt.I bought 3 units. On one, I had problems screwing on the spike. The threads were not good and it would not screw on straight. I forced it and got it screwed down all the way after about 10 minutes of saying bad words. It was not exactly straight but was good enough to work.The light is bright white and can be seen from a long distance. It does shine on the ground somewhat, but it doesn't really light up a path. Also, the light pattern is strange. No light beam shine on the path from the corners. So, your path is lit in shafts coming from each of the sides.They were what I wanted. It is hard to find a bigger bollard. Most of them are skinny and not very tall. There are taller ones but they are very expensive.

I purchased 6 of these 2 years ago, they are only on for about 6 to 3 hours a day depending on what time of the year it is. I just had to purchasse 4 more because they burned out already. I would have looked for something different, however my wife likes the style of these lights. Once these burn out i will look for lights from a differnt manufacture. Save yourself some money and do not buy these lights, unless you like buying new ones every other year.

These are gorgeous lights and when installed initially are very bright. However, I’ve had to replace 2 within a year and now 4 mor have gone dim. I’m going to find something else

Very good quality (Sturdy/heavy) and bright light emission. These simply clip on to any low voltage cable system. These are described as black but the color is actually more of a granite color (Black with grey flecks) which is exactly what I hoped for. This is an excellent product for the money. (I paid under $50 per light)
