This frog is a big dude!
I've only had him one day but already laughed several times as I forgot about him and walked past the driveway. Much bigger than I expected and quite attractive in a froggy way. Update: Still works a few weeks later. One morning I was laying in bed and since my bedroom window was open I could hear him croaking continuously. I finally went out in my pajamas to check if I had a visitor but it was because a large snail was perched on his face. I plucked it off, gently and stuck it on a rock. No problems since but it proves he works well! P.S. Update! I must have been at leasta year or two and frog dude is still croaking. If he sounds odd, change the batteries. Mine lasted all summer. Put him on a dry porch in the winter for a long froggy life!

RIBBIT RIBBIT
The media could not be loaded. Cute little frog. Motion sensor average but sensitive enough that the cat walking by sets it off. The flashing eyes are a nice touch but if I recall the product description said they are solar powered. I don’t think that is correct as I don’t see a solar panel on it. Minor detail of course. This is its first time outdoors so time will tell as to its durability. So far so good.

Not good for long
It didn’t work many times and parts are already separated from the original condition

I think he's cute even if he isn't a prince
I have been looking for a frog with a motion detector that croaked. I bought this to replace a dearly loved gift of one from an uncle, although not only did the frog croak, he had a tongue that shot out like it was catching a fly. Couldn't find one of those. This one is a fairly nice replacement. The only downside is that it doesn't always pick up on the motion detection. For the most part it functions well. It is durable. The dog is afraid of it, 115 lb rottweiler can you imagine?

Attractive statuary, unreliable motion sensor
I bought two of these frogs. I returned the first one because the motion sensor would not stop croaking when I turned it on. It lasted two days. I just returned the second unit because the motion sensor stopped working altogether. I bought these to scare off rabbits that have been eating my verbena ground cover. On a positive note, the quality of the ceramic frog was excellent. The paint is done well and the eyes light up yellow when the motion sensor works, which is a nice touch. The frog is hollow and has one design flaw that didn't bother me. The frog is hollow and the electronics and batteries are contained in a small plastic box that is inserted into the bottom of the frog (which also contains the on/off switch.) The frog has an internal ceramic piece that is suppose to support the plastic box. But on both frogs that support broke off inside the unit. I suppose the weight of the broken ceramic pieces sitting on the plastic box caused the box to come off. I removed the broken ceramic pieces and re-glued the box using crazy glue; easy enough but worth mentioning. If you are looking for a cute garden statuary and don't care about the motion sensor, this is still worth the money. But if you are looking for a reliable motion sensor, keep the box you may be returning it.

Cute lawn ornament
This is a fun lawn ornament. The motion detection isn't very reliable. Sometimes it croaks when you walk by it and other times it doesn't. Sometimes it croaks all by itself. It is worth the money and something fun and different for the price. The paint is an attractive green and it looks better than in the picture. It may not be water resistant long-term so I bring it in during a heavy rainstorm. The little gate on the bottom for the batteries was not durable and comes out if you are not careful.

Cute as can be...
Cute as a frog can be. Eyes light up and flash as he croaks just as described in the ad. Hope he scares off the stray animals that visit my back yard. Maybe even a two legged one. LOL
