Q: How do i untighten it??? Its totally stuck

Thank you for your inquiry. This Rod does not have the capability to permanently lock. There is a cam nut mechanism that tightens as the Rod is rotated. Hold the inner rod in your left and and using your right hand turn the outer rod towards you to unlock. Should you feel hesitation wiggle both rods slightly back and forth still predominantly towards you to unlock. Q: do u twist it or is it like a toilet paper rod

Once you get the rod in place it must be twisted to apply the tension that keeps it in place. Unlike a toilet paper rod which you simply push in then release, this has to be twisted.
