The background is great but there was no instructions and the paper was damaged I put it on my Fishtank and cannot get rid of a crease that I got in the glass no matter what I did to it but other Then that it’s a great background

I usually read reviews but for whatever reason didn't on this item and now I've wasted $25. This item is horrible. It's stupid sticky and impossible to apply. maybe it would have been better if I'd read the reviews that suggested spraying the glass with water first, but I didn't and now I'm screwed. My $200 tank is ruined because this nasty sticker is all bubbled up on the back and I can't get it off. Why isn't it just a vinyl cling that sticks to the glass but comes off easily, like those "uv" stickers they put on sunglasses? That would be nice, useful, and easy to apply. I wish had never purchased this item. But now it's used, the wrapper is in the trash, and I'm out $25, possibly more because my tank is ruined.

So let me just say, I do love this background. It’s bright and beautiful and it adds that little extra something for my tank. Now, it is definitely going to be easier to install this on a tank that is not set up yet, as you can lay the tank down and then apply the background easily. But, for a tank that is already set up, (has water, fish, etc.) the first thing you want to do is make sure Al cords are away from the back of the tank and you have full access to the glass. Then you are going to want to spray the glass with water. This will help you move the background around if it doesn’t sit where you want it the first time. If you don’t spray with water, wherever you put it, that’s where it stays, and there will be air bubbles that are going to be impossible to remove. If you try to remove it after you stick it on, the sticky stuff will stick to your tank and you’re going to have to goo gone it off. But if you spray with water, you can easily move it around AND it’s easier to get air bubbles out. Because I made the mistake I just mentioned, I do have some air bubbles. But I’m fine with it for now. I’ll end up getting this again and fixing it, and do it right the first time. Hope this helps!

I really like the look of this background. Even though it came with no install instructions snd I ended up tossing in the trash because I couldn’t get rid of the bubbles, I bought another. This time I might consider taping it to the glass instead of relying on the sticky surface. If that doesn’t work, absolutely will not buy another.By the way, when I removed the background, I was stuck with a sticky glue residue on the glass. Am using goo off to try to get it off.

No instructions included! After two trials, too many "bubbles"! Looked up the Amazon page it was purchased from, and, behold, there were some instructions for a similar product! On my third try, following the online instructions to spray dampen the glass surface with water prior to application, the background looks great. Note that I had to, carefully, and with some difficulty, detach the background from aquarium glass three times. Had it not been for lack of instructions, I would have rated the product with five stars, and the "easy to install" section with at least four stars.

It was easy to apply to the tank and the color is so beautiful and gives the tank a deep sea feel.

This background is beautiful. It fits my tank perfectly. We used double-sided tape to attach to the tank. Very nice!

If I could give zero stars I would. This is so not worth the money. It had a ridge/crease down the middle. Was almost impossible to separate from the plastic its so thin...and is absolutely NOT adhesive in way. We ended up having to tape it to the back of the tank and will disguise all the imperfections with rocks and plants. Do not waste your time or money on this.

This item has a sticker back which is absolutely impossible to attach properly, ends up with thousands of air bubbles and folds and looks horrible. Tried to peel it off and it left horrible sticky residue that took me hours to clean off with multiple products and scrapers. Don’t waste your time or money.
