This is a good book to have to loan to Master Masons who are interested in joining the York Rite. If you are already a Royal Arch Mason the Capitular Development Course by the same author contains everything this books does plus much more.

The author points out that virtually all of the books on Royal Arch are written based on the UK format. This one is not - and it's a well-needed addition to the study of that topic. Short - too short - but filled with interesting material. If you are interested in the history and development of this degree, you MUST get this book.
