Covering woodpiles with a Flame Retardant tarp in fire prone areas is now being enforced by fire inspectors in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. We selected a tarp with the Registered Flame Retardant California State Fire Marshal tag sewn on so fire inspectors could easily see we’re in compliance. We also used the waterproof pouch (ProCase 6 Pack Waterproof Phone Pouch) to add additional documentation.The tarp is heavy duty and seems well made

We are on a wooded mountain and preparing for the fire season. This tarp was purchased to be used to cover firewood for the winter, and passed the fire inspection as well, as it is fire retardant.
