The Ultimate David Lanz Collection: for Easy Piano

I love this book.

David Lanz is a great pianist and composer. And his arrangements aren’t too hard and still don’t sound too simplistic. Great buy!

These songs retain the style and beauty of David Lanz’s original scores yet they are easily within reach for piano players who are of intermediate ability. I enjoy sitting down and playing the pieces without a lot of practice.

I'm an adult beginner so some songs are a little hard for me I have to practice a lot The songs are beautiful though

This is a great book to help an advanced beginner piano player feel like they are becoming more accomplished.

Like it very much, Could have had it more advanced sheet music. I am self taught, been a struggle but I am progressing each day with practice. I am in my mid 60's who ever said an old fool can't learn. This sheet music is an early Christtmas gift which I opened early, given to me by my wife. The sound is great coming from my Kawai upright grand piano. Have lots to look forward to in my retirement years ahead. Thanks again for the Ultimate David Lanz Collection. Later....James

Very easy arrangements that are relaxing to play and sound nice without sounding oversimplified

This has already been helpful in learning to play some more complicated pieces of his but in a less complicated way. It’s like the medium level of guitar hero.

I found this book to be a refreshing surprise.Generally Hal Leonard Easy Piano is far too easy. But every so often, they release a more challenging book to ease the transition from easy piano up to solo piano.This book is one of those times. There are some pieces that are still a bit easy, but they don't sound that way and then others that are very challenging - see The Dragon's Daughter or Valencia.Playing the many pieces in this book is challenging for this level but each piece sounds so close to the original songs that one might not give away that it's a simplified version of the original.I would highly recommend this book to fans of David Lanz, and even to anyone who would like to learn beautiful pieces of music.Now if only they would release an Easy Piano book for Yanni!
