High quality manufacturing. Still causes "niacin flush" just not quite as dramatically as non-sustained release types. I first bought this to combat high cholesterol and it does work. Niacin is only expected to lower one type of high cholesterol and helps raise good cholesterol. I've been taking it for several months and my most recent blood test shows the results of affected cholesterol back in normal range. The biggest bonus was not expected. It helps prevent my migraines dramatically. Since causes for migraine are different for different people, niacin won't work for everyone but for me it's practically a miracle. I take two of these in the evening, every day. You dont want to take it in the morning because the flushing is quite obvious for up to 15 minutes and depending on several factors, you can't predict exactly when it will happen.

This is really awful stuff!I only took 3 x and got such awful stomach & colon cramps! Ive never bad such bsd pain from any herb or vitamin!

This is the Best Niacin product I have found and I have tried several. After taking it for months it in fact helped along with other natural supplements to lower the numbers on the lab tests to the point where my Dad no longer has Diabetes! I was insulin resistant and it has also lowered my numbers appropriately as well!His Allopathic Doctor asked him what I had put him on to get the numbers down so low as he had told my Dad prior that once you have Diabetes you will always have it... we proved that wrong.The Best part is No Niacin Flush... yet, it is still extremely effective. In this Family all of us suffer from a severe Niacin Flush and none of us can tolerate it... so this product is a God Send!

Added niacin to my supplement along with vitamin K for cholesterol and general cardio health. Other niacin did give me the flush and severely aggravate my rosacea causing flare ups. This form of Douglas Lab Niatab was 90% better tolerated! I get an occasional very mild flush but now the benefits far outway the side effects. I will be reordering this product. I take a full capsule once per day butt they can easily be broken in half if you choose.

This is a pure and powerful version of niacin from a well respected company. I believe it is safe to use with most statins EXCEPT Rosuvastatin

While these do cause a minor flush it is not nearly as bad as some I have tried. I will order them again.

I did like using this product. My doc thinks it is better to feel the niacin flush but I dislike that feeling. i have to take a large dose and this product does not give me the flush. Most of the niacin now is slow release. Much more tolerable.My order was sent promptly and I would order again.
