I've heard that pomegranate oil plus taking the extract can thicken the skin and therefore is pro-youthing (or anti-aging however you'd like to think of it) which is what I really need and I have to say the oil is unlike any other I've ever tried. It's close to the consistency of Vitamin E but soaks into the skin better and has a fruity smell to it. The seller offers a break down of everything in it and it's apparently mostly Omega 5 fatty acids. Very interesting, one rarely hears about Omega 5 but I can tell you it does do wonders for the skin. This really is a special oil and I just hope the long term benefits do what I need but I definitely want to attest to the fact that it's definitely a good oil no matter what. I was surprised to find a new oil that did something interesting so I hope others can experience the same benefits.

I subscribe to the belief that if you can't eat it, don't use it on your body. Also, did you know that Carrot seed oil has a natural SPF? I use this straight on my skin and also my hair. Considering how little you have to use it's a bargain. Give up expensive lotions and start using essential oils instead. I mix up my own anti-aging serum using this along with carrot seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, jojoba oil, rose hip oil, vitamin e, and frankincense oil. I'm fifty years old and people tell me I look 10 years younger. They also ask me what I use on my skin all the time!

This is a great product and loved it the first time I ordered it. It is wonderful on skin! Unfortunately when I ran out and ordered more, I received a bad batch, (oil was cloudy with white crusty stuff on top and a strong smell of bad chocolate). I returned it and placed another order and then yet another order. 3 times in a row, I was sent rancid oil. After the 2nd time I received a nice email from Amazon saying they would look into it and how frustrating for me. And right after this email, I received yet another rancid bottle of oil. I love this product and have tried to be patient but obviously it is not getting me anywhere. I will see if I can order right from the company.

I LOVE this oil...I've never used carrot seed oil before but heard the movie stars were using this. The scent is very interesting and earthy....I say it smells like dirt, lol.....I LOVE it! I love how it goes on and disappears on your skin, and how it makes me feel and look.I am just nervous about reordering because of a review that said her 2nd bottle was not the same. I will be ordering again and hoping for the same product to arrive!

After hearing from the seller I am up-grading from 3 to 5 stars. While I was looking for carrot seed essential oil, and this is a carrier oil, the mistake was mine by not reading the description. The seller also assures me that this is true carrot seed oil and is cold pressed, which was a concern of mine. I intend to use this as a carrier oil for my healing essential oils, as carrot seed oil is so good for the skin.

I bought a bottle of this a few months ago and liked it, so I bought another bottle. The oil in my second bottle had a completely different scent, color, and texture. Unlike the rich, woodsy scent and dark color of the carrot oil in the first bottle I bought, the oil in the second bottle was thin, yellow, and smelled like turpentine. It felt very different on my skin. I don't know what this company is trying to pass off as carrot oil now, but it certainly is not the same product. I thought I had found a reputable source for carrot oil, but I guess I will have to look elsewhere.

Packing should be improved to avoid the leakage and BB date says May 2016 (that is also smudged off, so its hard to see if year says 2015 or 2016..but assuming it to be 2016) so not sure if it's an old stock or in general the life of oils are less than an year. When I'm paying so much, I want to get fresh stock.Its just couple of days since I received this oil , so not sure how it works, but GOOD thing is its gets absorbed into skin quickly and smells good..

Didn't do much for my skin. Quality of the product was good though. Didn't smell rancid..
