I Shouldn't Have Waited This Long -- This Tote is That Good
I adore this tennis bag! It took a mental leap for me to transition from a backpack bag to a tote because I liked that I could always wear my racquet on my back if I needed both hands. Still, I wore my backpack mostly on one shoulder and came close to taking people out as my racquets swung around. This Maggie Mather tote actually *does* allow me use of two hands if I need to since it can be firmly under one arm. Plus, I have better control of my racquets so I don't accidentally hit someone with them Those facts wouldn't justify this bag, however, if it didn't also offer excellent organization and lots of room. The tote has several outer pockets: a large, deep one that will hold up to two racquets; a zippered pocket for things I might need during a match; one on each short side for a water bottle and a can of balls; and two open pockets below the racquet pocket for . . . well, I haven't yet figured out how I'm going to use those. Inside, there's a generous open space plus a shallow zippered pocket. The thick nylon tote straps are adjustable. One strap has a snap fastener to secure two racquets. I can't get the strap around both handles, but instead I insert it in the space below the heads. If I carried only one racquet, the strap would easily fasten around the whole handle. The interior of the iris color is a black-and-white zebra print; I could do without animal prints in general, but because it is mostly hidden, I like it.If I were to put the racquets inside without anything else, the tote would tip over, but as soon as you add stuff, it balances nicely. My backpack was always falling over. This does not. I can place this tote on the court or in the locker room floor, and it stands up. The nylon exterior can easily wiped clean with a damp or soapy cloth.I could kick myself for trying to find a cheaper way of carrying my racquets and for not transitioning sooner to a tote. If I hadn't had two friends who had the teal color (that's the only reason I didn't get that one), I wouldn't have realized how much better this Maggie Mather bag is.

Great looking tennis bag.
Perfect bag for tennis. Holds my racquet, could hold two. Pockets for tennis balls, water, towel, extra clothing and valuables. Very well made. I got Iris, very lovely color, not too bright.

Best bag ever
I love this bag. It’s lightweighr, has the right sized pockets in the outside, easily accessible pocket for my racquets, and large zippered area inside for all my gear. I love it.

Nice tennis tote
Lightweight and roomy. Stays upright. The color is very pretty. Wish there were more interior pockets. It holds one tennis racquet in the exterior slot pocket, but a second racquet must go inside the tote, which doesn't have a zipper or magnet to close it.

Great Bag
This is the most popular bag at my tennis club, and now I know why. The bag is light weight and holds everything needed for tennis and after. The quality is terrific and can take rough handling. I was originally concerned that items may fall out of the open pockets, but that does not seem to be the case. Love this bag!
