This Franklin Sports Arctic Trails Snow Saucer is extra thick and sturdy, and doesn't warp easily while riding on it in the snow. I actually took it for a few test runs myself down our "sledding hill" as we have an inch or two of snow left from our last snow. The handles are sturdy, and it even has a cute imprint of snowflakes inside of it. I'm used to the cheaper sledding saucers that eventually warp even after a few runs (and/or you can feel every little thing underneath you as you go over it), but this one is much more durable and hardy. It's a nice deep blue color, and generously sized, too. I have no worries about this one cracking anytime soon, and it's already getting good use for winter fun in this household. It gets two thumbs up from us - really nice, well-constructed saucer sled!

Perfect size for my 4-year-old grandson. He's 40 pounds I would not recommend for a child over seven (unless very small for their age).The Franklin Sports Arctic Trails Snow Saucer is well made of thick material and is very durable. I also like that it has two handles. For the age this would be appropriate for, I wouldn't use it on large hills. I would be afraid of the possibility of a small child falling out. I was hoping to be able to have an older cousin and the younger one both on it for safety.For the price, it's not a bad deal.
