Great product, terrible bottle.
This is the best brand of Stevia we have tried - period. We're devoted fans of their powdered stevia, and we use liquid stevia for some recipes and also for drinks. We have been using stevia as a sweetener for over twenty years and have tried numerous brands. Some have a bitter aftertaste, some taste like anise or licorice, and others are weirdly viscous. This is perfect, absolutely perfect - except for one thing: the bottle. The lid gets stuck almost every single time we use it, and it's a weird kind of dropper similar to super glue caps. It's incredibly frustrating, and we will probably end up transferring this to an old classic proper bottle.Liquid stevia tends to crystalize ever so slightly when exposed to air. This happens with every brand we have ever tried, so it is inevitable. The cap on this one, though, seems to get stuck more easily for some reason, and because of the way it is designed, it is much more difficult to get off. I've even had to use my teeth a couple of times. Nature's Candy, if you are reading this, please change your bottle supplier. You've got the best product on the market, but a truly crappy user interface.Okay, rant done. With all that said, this is still the best stuff out there. We made lavender lemonade for a party, and normally I have to add a little sugar or honey to round out the flavor or temper stevia's tendency to be bitter or flat. Not so with Nature's Candy. Using about half a bottle, we made several gallons of totally natural, sugar-free lemonade, and everyone loved it. No one could believe it was sweetened solely with stevia. I'm not sure how they get such consistently great flavor out of their extracting process, but whatever it is, the results are phenomenal.

Sweet, Sweet, Sweet.
The only reason this does not have 5 stars is that there is a bit of an aftertaste from any form of Stevia. I am not easy on products. I do not give 5 stars easily. When I do, you will know the product is really something else. I like the mixture of 1/2 Erythritol and a few drops of Stevia. Actually Stevia is amazia. It is so sweet that 1 small bottle of pure liquid S will last months. There are no calories. It is passed by the Diabetic Associations. It is known to not affect blood glucose but of course some may argue that is not so. There is no shift of the hypoglycemic level. Erythritol is very close but has a bit more caloric content. It does not have much though. Xylitol has it's use too but I stopped using it. Xylitol has a bit more caloric content than either Erythritol or Stevia. I - have lost twenty eight lbs although I don't attribute it to this. I am doing several things including a diet and taking several things, some prescription. I will say I am not afraid to take Stevia at all. I have studied it quite thoroughly. I recommend pure Stevia. I will also say the form of Stevia with Erythritol as a filler is probably fine to use but I personally buy them pure and mix them as I see fit. Erythritol is delicious. If one does not use too much Stevia in a drink or whatever, a delicious whatever can be made also. Stevia is certainly helping me.

The best stevia on the market - period.
I've been using stevia for about twenty years and have tried just about every brand available. I use both powdered and liquid forms. This is by far the best liquid stevia I've used (and on another note, their powdered stevia is also the best powdered stevia I've used - but that's in another review). That being said, I'm tempted to take away a star for the bottle design. You only need a few tiny drops of this stuff to sweeten an entire cup of tea or coffee (or sparkling water - yum!), but with the thin plastic, it's easy to put in more than you need, and much less precise than the typical eyedropper versions I'm used to. Also, the cap isn't very ridged, so when the stevia dries on the cap (which is inevitable), it gets stuck and is pretty hard to get off. I imagine it would be near impossible for someone with arthritis or carpal tunnel. One time the bottle tip was stuck so badly I just unscrewed the entire thing and tried to pour out a few drops. Well, WAY too much spilled out, but miraculously, it still wasn't bitter and still didn't have an aftertaste. I ended up taking that glass of water and adding it to a whole gallon of water and made lemonade with it, and it was fabulous! To me, as frustrating as the bottle is, that's a huge testimony of how good this stevia is. With any other brand, if you add too much stevia it just tastes funny, but even with WAY too much in the glass, it was just intensely sweet - not even a hint of bitterness or the anise-like flavor you find in other brands. I don't know how they get such pure, clear sweetness out of this. Plus it's not cloying or flat in any way. Just fantastic! So good, in fact, that I still think it deserves five stars even if the bottle is a hassle.

A decent alternative that won't fool anyone in coffee
Sugar is the ingredient I primarily monitor in my diet, so I'm always looking for ways to cut it. I don't do a lot of cooking/baking, but I have coffee almost every day and use some sort of sweetener about half the time. I like to have a large variety of sweeteners for both me and guests, so on a whim, I decided to try stevia. This one had good reviews, so I ordered it.Bottom line: it tastes like a sugar substitute. Better than some, but nothing I'd mistake for the real thing. At the risk of being a sweetener sommelier, the first presentation is good, with a definite sweetness hitting the tip of my tongue as I drink. However, like all other sugar substitutes I've tried, the mid and aftertaste are "lighter" than syrups, honey, or cane sugar, with something lingering after I swallow each sip that I can only describe as empty, bordering on artificial. It's not undrinkable, but I've found myself using it less and less, instead opting to lower the amount of syrup/honey I add when I want something sweet (I now use about half a tablespoon in a large coffee).

Not for me
Unbeknownst to me, Stevia has a disgusting aftertaste when used in any real volume. I wanted to use this to sweeten my coffee as an alternative to sugar, and nope! What's the point of a sweetener with a bitter aftertaste?

Will not be reordering
The product I received this past week has an expiry date of June 2018? Doesnโt anyone keep tabs on the stock? I will not be reordering and have no time to waste returning it.

Pretty good price for the amount
Pretty good price for the amount. It is very strong and has a tiny bit of an after taste if you use too much but overall great for my mom since she is diabetic.

Not quite as sweet as expected
This is not nearly as sweet as they say and it takes a lot more to get my tea sweet, like 8 to 10 drops. Other than that it is a good sweetener and no sugar. Thanks

Best before date is limiting.
I agree that the best before date is far too limiting. I don't think most people will be able to use all of it in 1-2 months.
