National Geographic Kids Mission: Lion Rescue: All About Lions and How to Save Them (Ng Kids Mission: Animal Rescue)

The cover was not attached to the book. The book was not properly bound and the pages are falling out of it. Amazon promptly issued a replacement (thank you, Amazon). However, SAME issue with the new copy. Cover not attached and pages falling out.It is unfortunate because the National Geographic Kids Rescue Books are wonderful and informative.

We just received a replacement for the first delivery where the cover fell off when we opened the book. The replacement had the exact same problem. We will try to glue the cover back but we are done with trying to exchange this for a better quality product.

For a lion addicted child, this a a great book. Loving all the links and extras to take her reading and research further.

Great book for kids - lots of facts and pictures. Used for kids research project.

As a parent, I really welcome anything that offers my kids a chance to think about--and to act on--making the world a better place. My kids have enjoyed the project of setting up a lemonade and brownie stand that raises money to help endangered animals. These National Geographic books about saving animals take that helping-the-world sentiment to the next level! Not only do my kids learn about the animals they find fascinating--lions, wolves--and their habitats, they also get lots of fun, helpful, concrete ideas on how to save them. It's amazing how well these books connect cool information about animals to the real world AND to a kid's world. I'll be on the lookout for the whole series!
