Packaging was undamaged and the stools were tightly packed. We immediately loved the detail on the stool legs, etc. We didn't find the legs to be "red" as another had commented. They are NOT java (black-brown) but slightly lighter, but look really good with our dark black-brown cabinets and white counters. The faux leather and nail studs seem intact. They went together quickly and by following directions, they do not wobble. They are a bit narrow (front to back) but once sitting, they are very cushy and comfortable. We saw some very similar at a furniture store and they wanted triple. All in all, for now, they get 5 stars!

Wasn't sure what I was going to get. Once assembled and in place I was delighted. They are very easy to assemble, sturdy and look great. Buy with confidence.

Update (12/8/2022): After the first two stools were assembled, I quickly ordered another set of two stools as we really needed 4, but I wanted to be sure of the quality first. In just 2 days the second set was delivered. They were packed as well as the first set and were damage free and all the parts and hardware were there.This is a really nice set at a reasonable price. Will see how they hold up in the coming months.(12/6/2022) I just received the delivery of these beautiful kitchen Stools. To start, they are packaged extremely well. Everything was wrapped and there are no marks or scratches. The screws are securely packaged in an orange plastic bag and easy to spot.I read through the entire directions before starting and made sure that I had everything I needed to assemble each stool. You are given an Allen wrench for the leg bolts and it says to use your own screwdriver to use on the screws for the cross bracing. Since there are no pilot holes in the legs did not have the hand strength needed to just use a screwdriver to set the screws. Instead, I used my drill set on a lower speed to just get the screws started into each leg and finished tightening them by hand so I would not over tighten them and split the wood.These look beautiful at our kitchen island and so, I literally just got done ordering two more.Don't be afraid of the assembly, just take your time. I'm a 64 year old woman and had no problems.I would suggest small felt pads on each leg so they don't mark your hardwood floors.

These barstools were easy to put together and have nice wood legs. These have certainly jazzed up our kitchen.

I had something very specific in mind when I began searching for stools. I wanted wood and leather-look, backless chairs that would fit under the lip of my kitchen island and complement my kitchen décor. These chairs more than met my requirements. The cushion, in particular, is really thick and comfy. They are lovely, match the dining chairs I got previously, and are comfortable for long periods. Whether I'm sitting chatting with someone cooking, or processing food for canning or drying, or enjoying someone else's company while I'm cooking—these stools have added a whole new level of social enjoyment to our home.We love them!

These bar stools are nice, but mine arrived damaged (luckily it was under the seat and not visible). I read the instructions carefully and assembled them in about 15 minutes each, being very careful to try to make sure they wouldn't wobble. In total, I purchased four of these, two from Amazon and two from Overstock.com. Out of the four stools, only one doesn't wobble a little. It's not much, just enough to frustrate you. Anyway, I will work on the wobbles and get some furniture stain for the damage under one of the seats. By the way, if you have a power screwdriver or a small drill with a phillips head bit, life will be a lot easier when assembling these stools.A

I've put together a ton of furniture in the last month, and this was one of the easier builds. Directions are clear and they went together quickly. Sturdy and comfortable, they are a pleasure to use.
