I was looking for Nichrome 80 series wire to make a replacement heating coil for my burnout oven. Locating the 18 gauge size I preferred of a quality I could trust was difficult. What's to say about Nichrome wire. It worked for me, making wire tips for my woodturning tool. The cost of a room, 50 feet, will last me for second life time, maybe a third. Buy wire from the woodturning tool company would be $6.00 for 18 inches ( 3 pieces 6" long )

It’s good. I bought it so I could make custom tips for my wood burner. When I first tried to get it off the spool, it all came unraveled. I believe this is because they put it on the spool way too tight. It’s a bit harder than I wanted, it takes some time to work flat with a hammer. It keeps its shape for the most part while heated. Seller also helped cancel an order I placed for the wrong gauge so thank you.

Very good material for making coils for your RDAs and RTAs. Will definitely buy it again.
