Pen with the cap does not really fit into it! The only option to store it nicely is to remove cap (to side compartment), which is not very practical when you are not intending the charge :-(The lid hold lightly, so when have this case in the bag, already happened that the lid was taken down (and the cap ended somwwhere at the bottom of the bag. So be sure to put it into separate pocket in the bag, not in a messy big part as I have

This didn't add much bulk to my current case. It slipped right in and the wireless charging is awesome! Great indicator light, so I know it is positioned correctly on the charging pad. Perfect, high recommend for this.

Got this as a present for my boyfriend as he always forgets to charge his pencil. He's really pleased with it and means he can just leave it in his bag and charge it whenever he remembers!

Really good charging case! It protects my Apple Pencil cuz really well and charging is so quick and easy! Also holds all the little bits that come with the pencil!

Sold as a new item but shows signs of having been used, very unhappy. Had this been a new item I would have been happy to use and keep as this is what I was looking for:

Just to be clear, I'm reviewing the Case Plus Stand Support Qi Wireless Charging Function Protective Cover for Apple iPad Pencil First Generation, not the other items which have been clumsily lumped together in the way Amazon so often does in the reviews.This is a really nice case. It does pretty much everything that one would hope for: it protects the case with what seems like a pretty sturdy polycarbonate structure; the bits and pieces associated with the pencil have snug homes which hold them tightly enough for them not to fall out if the case is turned upside down without the lid on - just push them securely home - though this does NOT apply to the pencil itself, despite it having a little ribbon to help raise it from its home. The lid is sufficiently strongly attached by magnets to keep it in place.The charging mechanism works really well on a Qi pad, and the pencil slips in and out of the slightly hinged tethered adaptor easily enough.The designers very cleverly ape the Apple style: the packaging is white, with images of the contents on the sleeve and a summary of product details on the rear of it. A simple all white box inside this holds the case.Anything wrong with it? Well, the Apple ethos carries through to the price: this IS expensive. Does it do EVERYTHING one might hope for? Not quite. It doesn't have a battery within that can be charged from the Qi pad so this could become a fully independent charging case. A case implies carrying this about. Only being able to charge by Qi means that if out and about you need a cable and power source to top up. And strangely, there is no space for a short cable that you could carry to use the adaptor Apple give you so you could connect to a battery pack or USB socket. I think for this price, it would be great if these options could have been included.Despite these caveats, I think this by far the best made, most useful case/charging mechanism combination. And it's great that it is so subtly styled. I really like it.
