Had no benefit taking these whatsoever

For a while I was lacking in energy and motivation despite my diet being healthy, therefore I tried to find alternatives to give me the boost I needed throughout the day which turned my attention to Maca Root.Throughout this time I was also experiencing chronic anxiety to the point that it was interfering with my health and preventing me from carrying out simple daily activities without becoming agitated. I am very sensitive to caffeine thus it was a no-go!From my own anecdotal experience, I can say that after taking Maca root for 2 months I feel like I regained a lot of energy, I sleep at night easier and I also experience less episodes of anxiety. I also experienced an increase in libido.I was familiar with Ashwaganda prior to knowing about Maca root which I was pretty sensitive to. In comparison Maca root took a couple weeks to notice the effects.The powder itself is encased in a edible gelatine capsule which is moderate in size and sawdust brown in colour, therefore if you have trouble swallowing tablets - this is the only downside, although it should be no issue. Maca-root also comes in powder form if you would rather that.

I have used various brands of Maca for almost 10 years. I have used it for endurance, mood and energy and I have had some good results whilst using it. This time I tested this product for another reason, Glucose Balance. It is claimed that Maca can help insulin distribution. I do not have diabetes, but over Christmas, I did have elevated levels of glucose, which rose to dangerous levels if not brought down. It was a pre-diabetes stage. The problem was I developed Keto-Flu, which comes about from a change in diet and I had no energy. I started taking this product and my energy levels increased and so did my mood. Whilst it was not all to do with Maca, I am sure this product helped enormously in my recovery.If one studies the uses of Maca, this is a wonderful supplement and can aid many conditions. My partner has supplemented on and off with maca root over the years for the benefits of increased energy among other things and feels he's always had good results when sticking to it daily - just make sure you're clear about the benefits and if you need to supplement with this or not before taking it based on other people's opinions unless they're professionals offering you specific advice - especially with regards to blood pressure, which this can reduce when taken long-term.If you know maca root is the right supplement for you right now, then this is a great value choice as if taken at the recommended one a day then this bottle will last around 6 months.

I used to take maca a few years ago when I was suffering from lethargy. I found it gave me a bit of a boost and helped get me though the day. Now I'm getting older and fatigue kicks in more easily I thought it I might try it again. These maca capsules are nice and easy to swallow, don't give me any stomach upset or other side effects. If my previous experience with maca is anything to go by I don't expect to notice any perceivable effects for a week or two. But I'm confident that if continue to take them regularly my general vitality should increase.
