Pair of Oval 70.3 Cell Phone Stickers Mobile Ironman Triathlon 70 - Black

These seem reasonably well made, and would probably work for the described purpose. What is not readily evident from the description on Amazon is that these are an oval decal or transparency, with a clear background for the numbers and ovals. Looking at the pic, in the absence of any other info, I assumed (mistake) that these were like most 70.3 decals - silver numbers on a black background. Instead, they are clear background and numbers. If you install them on a black background, you will see nothing but black. Would have ordered white if I knew, but cheap enough to just ignore.The image is applied to a transparent rectangular section of tape, lightly textured shiny surface. This rectangle is applied to your phone, pressed down securely, and then the transparent rectangular or square section of tape is carefully removed. This leaves the 70.3 oval and the outline circle behind. What worked best was peeling off the transparent backing very slowly by bending it back over the decal - like removing a band-aid or bottle label. If you bend the backing up at right angles to the surface, it will start to pull off the decal, especially the outer ring. But bending it back to where it is flat against itself and pulling slowly, the decal should stay put.
