Remote spray collarBought this collar as my dog would not come in, when he’s let out in the garden at bed time ,i have only used the beeper on it and this seems to work fine when use with voice Command of come.I had a similar training collar for my German Shepherd some years ago ,which cost a lot more and wasn’t as good as this one , I like the fact this has lights on it to tell when it needs charging,which also show me where he’s hiding in the garden when it dark out ,I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone who needs a decent dog training collar at a great price

I had bought a similar training collar a few years ago and the result was almost immediate. I was very disappointed by this one. First, it gets very confusing between the automatic action and the controlled one, then there is another confusion between dog 1 and dog 2. But the main problem is that the bip and the spray are far too weak. Neither my dog nor my friend’s dog who tried it paid any attention. Plus, it would start off any time another dog was barking nearby! This was a complete waste of money. I bought another cheaper collar with a simple automatic beep and vibration and that did the trick.

We got this product because our 8 yr old dog has taken to barking a lot while out for a walk. It does work well on the highest setting but unfortunately if another dog barks near him our dog gets beeped & sprayed which implies it is too sensitive, If we turn it down it doesn’t seem to have the same effect so we have taken to putting it on him every so often so that he is never sure & that seems to work ok. It is fairly simple to use & I like the fact it works automatically which is mainly how we use it.

My dog barks at strangers in the park constantly and incessantly, this stops him from doing it pretty quickly.I had near zero faith that this product would work, but have been pleasantly surprised. The problem for me is that my dog barks at strangers in the park and with so many people who are scared of dogs suddenly appearing in every park because of covid this has become MUCH more of a problem. People who are scared of dogs run, and that only makes the dog chase them. If you tell the dog off when he gets back he doesn't know whether you are annoyed because he came back, because he sniffed some grass on the way back or whatever. The dog needs the info immediately as he's doing the thing wrong, and if the thing that he's doing wrong is not right next to you then you need a remote device like this to let them know.I am not recommending this individual product over other similar products, I'm just saying the concept is good and this is the one I bought and it is working.This particular version is not without fault, something like this should have better waterproofing than it does. I haven't had an issue so far but even if your dog is not a swimmer, heavy rains are a real thing.The size of the unit is also quite large for my size dog (15kg mini schnauzer) despite claims that this is suitable for dogs half that size. It's not hugely heavy but just a little large (probably due to citronella gas inside). It has to hang under the dogs neck to spray citronella in it's face, the manual says to trim the dogs beard to allow the spray direct access. My dog does NOT like the citronella and reacts within a second or two. The beeping noise thing that this can also do is as near as worthless, it might be good to train your dog to come back when it hears that sound but it does nothing in terms of stopping a determined barker. If I had control over product design I would change the device so that when you went out of range it switched to automatic mode but I also understand why that is so difficult to do without killing the battery life... Also they should give you a can of the spray with it.

Whilst it was great at first for some reason the device has stopped working when on "auto-detect" entirely no matter what sensitivity rating you set it on. To say this product was £70 and broke after less than 6 months is hugely disappointing and therefore viewed as a waste of money.There's also no details on how to get in contact with the company to resolve said issue.In short, without the longevity of a well built product I would avoid this and spend your money elsewhere.

Easy to set up and link the collar to the buttons. Wanting only manual operation, it is necessary to press a button within a minute each time it's switched on, else it goes into automatic anti-bark mode, hence 3 stars. Good value.We were very pleased until, the day before the amazon return period ended, it just stopped squirting. It had been refilled, the buttons worked, you could hear a valve opening, but no gas emitted. So, back to amazon for a refund.We have ordered another, so you can see that we liked it in principle. Hopefully a one off duff unit.

I've used a few different spray training collars in the past but none have been as quality as these. They're like invisible leads to ensure the safety of your dog and others around you. All my dogs are rescues or rescue preventions and have missed out of important training in their early days and it can be difficult breaking old habits, this is an important aid in their training. The rechargeable part is a real treat.

I bought this model and have two dogs so thought I could buy the other advertised spray collars but they are not compatible with each other. They are great but the real problem is accidentally setting off the remote, which is very easy as you fumble in your pocket for the remote and is does is make the dog very confused. The trick is to link the remote to the collar, say dog 1 and then press the other button dog 2 to effectively lock it from being pressed in error. We tend to warn our dog with low level sound first, then the higher sound and that usually works, so the spray is only ever needed for real "red mist" moments. As far as distance goes I'd say we get up to 200m in the woods, you just need to hold the remote above your head.
