Love this for the superior end product!!!

Was given to me as a present. I had to learn a little about distilling before I could use it.....it turns out that that was a mistake.I used it for the first time about 1 year after I got it. Took it out of the box, followed instructions and had no problem.Decided to run another batch about 2 weeks later. Heating unit did not work. The light went on, but the unit did not heat.I guess it is my fault that I didn't use it sooner...out of warranty...despite ONE use.I filed a claim with the seller and asked to do an exchange of the heating element, since everything else works.No response from seller in over 2 weeks. Cheap materials and faulty workmanship of their items is one thing. To ignore customers is another.Very disappointed.

I had bought the t 500 ambelic and the product was awesome. However, after one weekend of use, it died. The thermostat would trip every minute, then it gave out. I tried changing the thermostat but no luck. Completely bumbed out. Company should give the consumer a place to find parts.2 try in fixing this... I fixed it. Not only do you change out the thermostat. But change out the resistor as well. It's a cheap fix. Up and running again. I almost bought a new one. Not changing stars until I spend some time with it.

The copper dome part was not delivered. I tried to get a resolution to this matter but to no avail. The air still works, but I'm disappointed in my inability to use the product as it was intended.

This item works perfectly, every time. I've been using it for maybe 5 years and it has never once given me any problems and it works exactly the same every time. I don't know what is the problem with others that have used this; but, it certainly is not my experience. Every appliance will fail eventually and I know that this will happen to this device sometime in the future... but I use this perhaps 10-20 times a year during the summer and then store it away for 6 months in the winter. Every time I bring it out from storage, I'll clean it up and it works like new - without fail. I can't speak for this seller for customer service, I didn't buy it from them and this is sold by many retailers across the world. I purchased an accessory a few years ago that leaked and exchanged it for one without a leak and there were no problems. Perhaps that depends on your retailer but I don't think negative comments about retailer customer service belong in a product review. My only negative about this is it uses a LOT of water. I would approximate about 10x the water the column condenser uses. So I gave it a 4 star rather than a 5. Personally, I would have preferred their design to include a separate condenser - like a wort cooler. It would take up more space but be a little easier on the water usage.

Very nice I use it all the time awesome quality .. just need a water pump because a 5 gallon run will mean you have to have the faucet on for aver an hour
