Is too big

Bought these for my husband. Hes a roadside mechanic so is in the shop and also on location on the side of the road. The bottom of these are great for him since he has to deal with all different terrains while wearing them. He has had a struggle with all different types of steel toes in the past. All others he has had have lasted maybe a month. I have gotten keen brand before for our daughter who is very rough on shoes, and they were the first for her to be able to grow out of rather then fall apart. So I thought lets give their steel toes a test with my husband. They are still going strong 4 months later and he thinks they are so comfortable he wears them not just as work boots, but as his daily shoes as well. I only gave 4 stars because the laces have given out on one. We were concerned at first because of some of the reviews about not very waterproof, my husband is outside in all weather and when they do get wet, the advantage is they dry faster while hes wearing them. We still love these shoes and have become a Keen family for life!

My first pair were purchased in January of 2014. I wore them every day for my wor for over a year and they held out and were very comfortable and reliable shoes. My company will pay for one pair of safety toe work shoes each year so I purchased an identical pair in February of 2015. After a little over 2 months old constant use, the upper right lace eyelet on the right shoe tore at the point where it passes through a slot in the leather upper, rendering the shoe unwearable. I am currently processing a warranty claim through the manufacturer and will update this rating when I see how that turns out. Meantime I have to find another pair of safety toe work shoes and pay for them myself as my employer one allows one pair per year.

The delivery was fast, and the shoe was light and looks good. I have wide feet and I order wide but it was still too tight on the side.I tried to wear it for 2 days but it was too painful.So I gave it to my co worker that wear the same size and he loves it...it fit perfect on him (he wear 9, and this was 9E).my lost - his gain, but he did buy me lunch for a few days.I gave it 2 stars because the wide was not wide, my Sketcher steel toe shoes the same size (wide) was much wider.I like the shoes if it was not so tight on the side of your feet, I think I would go with Keens brand, because most people in my shop wears them.And they all are happy with them

KEEN is by far the best steel toe shoe I have owned in the 16 years Ive been wearing them. This shoe is very sturdy and comfortable. Its the walking around on concrete and standing all day that hurt your feet. When i wear these and sit every couple of hours for 15 minute breaks, no issue.
