I’m always skeptical when buying aftermarket chargers for apple products, so some of these negative reviews had me worried. Ive been using this charger for the past few weeks and so far I’ve had no problems.Yes, it does feel lighter than the original charger, but as far as function goes, it works just fine. My watch and the charger don’t overheat, the battery charges just fine, and I’m overall very satisfied.

My original Apple watch charger was starting to fail--not always charging--after a few years of use. Based on many positive reviews, I decided, for the first time, to get this non-Apple replacement product. At less than half the price, this charger looks well-built and is working perfectly so far. I might buy another one for traveling (and I'd still be saving money). Also, the charger came well-packaged, much like the Apple model.

I got this charger as a travel charger for my wife, she has the Apple Watch 5 and I have the 4. I originally tried to use my travel Apple watch 4 with her apple watch 5 and it did not work. Needless to say, she was very frustrated, so I was careful to buy a charger that works for Apple Watch 5 and this one did the trick. Great material and quality, works as described. If I could ask for something that would be to come up with a different design so the watch stays more securely connected to the charger while charging, but the original charger from Apple has the same issue, so this is more an Apple design issue.

I purchased this cable to use at my mom's house for when I'm visiting occasionally on weekends. I typically don't even need to charge my watch when I'm there because the battery life is usually sufficient.I've had this cable for a little over a year and honestly have probably only charged my watch on it 10-15xJust recently when I attempted to charge my watch on it, I noticed the next morning that it did not charge my watch...I didn't do anything for a couple weekends, but fed up I carefully disassembled it and the wires had detached from the solder contacts!The wires are just two very basic wires, unlike the image provided making it look robust.Granted this charger isn't very expensive, but nonetheless I'm very disappointed in how seemingly cheap this was put together.My particular issue could have been resolved had the wire been glued into place at the base of the charging pad. I can tell that the wires broke free because there was nothing whatsoever holding the wire in place except the soldered contacts themselves which are very small and weak.Fortunately I believe I can salvage the charger by re-soldering the wires to the board and adding some glue to reinforce the base of the wire, but I never should have needed to do this in the first place.

This inductive charger is near-identical to the original in form factor and performance. I am out of the house sometimes for long periods, and, while the Apple Watch 5 battery lasts almost 16+ hours with my extensive use, it needs charging when not always convenient. While I can bring the original, I thought having one with me all the time coupled with my portable USB lithium-ion battery would ensure continuity of operations while leaving the original at home. The combination works well while at meetings, airports, camping, and other places where inductive Apple Watch 5 charging is needed. No doubt that this charger is a cost-effective alternative to buying OEM.

I ordered this Apple Watch charging cord as a backup.I’ve used it twice since receiving it and found it seems to work almost exactly as the OEM cord included with the watch.•No error messages because it’s not OEM and it appears the charging time is about the same.•The indent on the charger is less however the magnetic connection seems quite sufficient.•The cord is the same length as the OEM cord but the POWLAKEN cord was a tiny smidge thicker.•As for temperature while charging, the watch and the base feel slightly warmer than the OEM cord but it’s not hot. As this is a backup cord for me, it is perfect for my situation.

I wear my Apple watch 24/7, so I can take advantage of the Sleep + App. As a result, I have to charge my watch during the day. This can be accomplished easily enough by removing my watch and plugging it in while I'm watching tv, reading or watching a video. It charges pretty quickly - gets me out of the low charge state really fast. So if I need a quick charge and go (like for a walk), I can do this in about 1/2 hour time. BTW, I have a Model 2 watch, and the battery still charges up! Very happy with it!

I bought two of these cables when I moved and couldn't find my original. They came quickly and look really nice. They do not have a clear curvature to fit the back of your watch, so it is difficult to know which end is up until you get it very close to your watch. I believe because they do not have the contact surface as dialed in, that may be why their charging capability is not as strong. Overall, for the money, this was a good purchase and it is nice, after many years, to have multiple charging cables without breaking the bank.

Not top notch but decent quality and does its job like the original charge. Slightly lighter in weight. Charge to 100% like the original within decent time duration.

Good value for money and speedy delivery.
