Little known lore of the Sith cultists was that Emperor Palpatine loved Christmas (he refused to call it life day) and that is the real reason the Sith Troopers are red. Though tragically having an extremely limited screen time during the Rise of Skywalker the green Sith troopers were not shown at all. The Dark Lord apparently having pathways to many abilities some consider to be unnatural spent many hours watching Hallmark Christmas movies and drinking egg-nog. He was also known to play soft Christmas jazz throughout his star destroyer and bake cookies. As seen in the conclusion of the movie Palpy in preparation to achieve his ascension and open presents donned his red festive dickie to welcome his granddaughter to Exegol. In a deleted scene he asks Rey if Kylo Ren is her boyfriend, when is she going to finish school, and then gives her a card with a $1.75 in quarters and some lifesavers. In conclusion, this festive little guy deserves a spot on your tree, his emperor certainly thought so. Merry Christmas everybody and May the Force be with you.
