MaxiVision MedOp Ocular Formula - NACFREE - 60 Capsules, 3 Bottles

I don't really know if these are doing good things for my eyes. My doctor says they are better than Areds 2 because they can be modified if new research finds something else or a different formula that will improve them. They are large pills but since they are capsules they are pretty easy to swallow. One star for night vision because I haven't driven at night so I don't know.

Works great to support eye health. This is the one my optometrist recommended. I’m 65 and need the extra supplement.

I have been using MaxiVision ocular formula for years and it has kept me reading and driving, — the Maxis, along with some technical procedures by my ophthalmologist. He simply told me to "take "eye-caps," but the Maxis are a big step up the ladder from the generics.The ocular formulas also contain certain good daily one-a-day-style vitamins and they are very good. I also occasionally take the Whole Body Formula, but it costs more and seems to have too many nutrients crammed in, and, to boot, one is supposed to take four of these tablets a day. Far too many. The vitamins would suffocate me. Two is plenty, on days I'm not taking Ocular formula.In any case, these vitamins contain up-to-date specifications by AREDS for eye health. If you start taking them when you still have some functional sight, you have hopes of maintaining or even improving your vision.

An eye doctor recommend these for eye health (particularly to slow down macular degeneration). Suffering from digestive issues, it is difficult for me to absorb nutrients. Synthetic and manufactured supplements offer little help for me. My doctor treats this disorder as well so truly wants his patients to use this product. Personally, this product seems to offer a better way for me to get these nutrients. However, it is harsh. A good sized meal is needed to stave off nausea. I am not sure if its zinc (a harsh supplement in any form) or some other sensitivity but its quite affecting. The price is also off putting but it is a natural supplement. When one adds up buying all included separately, possibly synthesized, this is a comparable price. I've shopped around and find the price varies only a couple of bucks.If you like natural supplements, need specific eye health, or have absorption issues, I definitely suggest this product

I bought AREDs2. It is all we have to help curb the progression of macular degeneration. But the price is too high for me as I am on a fixed income. It doesn't need to be that high for anyone. We are over a barrel. I would feel better if the pharmaceuticals would charge less and /or this product was covered under insurance. BUT I got my order in a timely fashion for which I thank you.

This product was recommended by my eye Dr. for treatment of age related MRD and I am very pleased. She has done a great deal of research and explained that it has twice the amount of needed ingredients as any other brands. Since being diagnosed, my condition has not worsened so I am a believer in this product.

Last year my optometrist diagnosed me with dry macular degeration. She recommended I take two of these vitamins a day. My latest eye testing showed the best results I've had. It even showed some improvement! (I also take Taurine twice a day, flax oil capsules twice a day and a fish oil capsule.) I did a lot of research and this vitamin has all the ingredients that are geared to helping slow or reverse macular degeneration. I hope it works as well for everyone who uses it!

My sister recommended this product years ago. I have been taking this for approximately 3 years now. And although I have been told by my eye doctor that I have glaucoma in my right eye, the macular muscles in both eyes are excellent. So I do feel like this product has contributed to keeping the macular muscles strong.
