Take this for blood sugar. This is God sent to me! Before, I was on insulin and my sugar levels were 230's to 330's during the day. But I started taking this, that my sister gave me. Now, my fasting blood sugar is running between 85 and 94. Before I was on insulin (Solostar self injection pen). But my sugar kept going to low. I quit insulin and just use this, I take one or two with a high carb meal. I ate sweets (several pieces of Russell Stover chocolates) and an hour later my sugar was 123. So I'm going to be upfront, I did not buy it off of Amazon or from this seller. I bought this Barlean's Olive Leaf Complex at a local health food store and it is the most amazing supplement I've ever taken. I have kidney issues and I have heart issues. I strongly recommend you read up on olive leaf extract. It is anti-inflammatory, it's antioxidant it's antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral. There are some people that probably shouldn't take it and that is if you are on blood pressure medication for high blood pressure because this actually helps with high blood pressure and if you're already taking medication it may lower your blood pressure too much. It's also not recommended for someone who is on blood thinner medication, because this will naturally thin your blood and that may cause you problems if you are on blood thinner medication already. Also it helps lower blood sugar, so if you are on medication for diabetes it could possibly lower your blood sugar too much. Some things that I have noticed is that this is energizing. Don't take it too late because it'll keep you up but take it first thing in the morning with some food and it's better than a cup of coffee! And there is no caffeine in it. I think part of it is that you get feeling so much better that you have more energy. I've noticed a lot of difference in my knees, hips and lower back. The aches and pains that I have there are gone. I would notice that by the morning my hips and lower back would hurt just from laying in bed all night. I don't have that problem anymore. It's very good for the brain and mental clarity. And it's an incredible immune booster. The real reason that I picked this up in the first place was because I had noticed that starting in the winter months, being inside so much and with a wood stove that I started to feel it in my lungs. Just a little bit of tightness in my lungs and a feeling like I couldn't take a fully deep breath. I would nebulize and that would make me feel better but I didn't want to have to be nebulizing all the time. I also noticed that it seemed to kind of progress. It wasn't that I felt I couldn't breathe but I felt like if I try to take a deep breath too quickly I would start coughing , and then it progressed to even just trying to talk I would start coughing. And if I laughed I would go into a coughing fit. I was becoming I quite concerned because this seem to be progressing. And I had not done any research prior to grabbing that off-the-shelf which is kind of surprising because it's not an inexpensive supplement. I usually do research things pretty well and I had heard good things about olive leaf extract but usually I do my own research. Well I immediately took it in the car before I even got home and then I took two more that night. Let me tell you that the label says to take two a day. I very rarely follow label instructions. Plus a therapeutic dose is between 500mg and 1000 mg and this seems kind of low dose. The next morning I took two more pills and I noticed I was feeling so much better and I could talk without coughing!! The tightness in my chest was alleviated! I had more energy and I had cleaning to do that typically I would be very unmotivated to do because I didn't have energy and frankly getting down on my hands and knees didn't feel very good. It's no problem now. I am telling you I truly believe this supplement is a gift of God. It's been life-changing. It's not the most economical supplement for me because I do find I have to take more than the recommended dosage, so I am looking to see if I can find something that's is well-reviewed and as effective but more cost-effective in its potency. But that said this is an outstanding supplement. Not everybody has as much going on as I do and may not need the higher dose. I have told several people about it already.
