I mean it works, well worked, audio jack is now jacked up somehow, like not that its dirty or anything just doesnt work, speakers half like half output. Dont get this mp3/mp4 it didnt last 72 hours before destroying itself

This device looks really cool and works great with headphones or a Bluetooth speaker, but the sound quality on the built-in speakers is really awful

Honestly it operates as I expect for the pricepoint and is passable. Build quality is decent.What is not passable is constant noise on bluetooth, total deal breaker for me.

I was really pleased when I opened the box. This devices looks and feels of quality. And they included a bunch of extras like the silicone case and armband. I didn't expect those at this price. But the software is bad and the sound quality was terrible. I tried multiple bluetooth headsets and they all produced a buzz/feedback that couldn't be silenced. It made the device unusable. Had it not been for the constant feedback, i probably would have kept it. But there are software issues too. There's no way to sort music. It looks like it's fixed in alphabetical order. That is really inconvenient for me. And navigating menu is really clunky. And you can't delete/remove blueooth devices once they're paired. I guess you souldn't need to if they work, but when troubleshooting the feedback issue it would have been nice to try and remove devices and re-add them. Anyways, the software sucks. But i probably would've kept it if the feedback wasn't constant buzz wasn't there.

Mine is on Software version 1.6 and it simply . I'm trying to listen to Flac on the player - which sounds OK when it works - but, then it just wants to reboot..

This was a given to my son as a birthday gift. It will not turn on despite being fully charged. It suddenly quit working. I have contacted the company. They have not responded.

My mother bought this for my 12-year-old son for Christmas. We thought it was a great solution for having access to music, with a little more grownup feel thanks to the touch screen and other features - without having access to the internet or other apps, etc. He was thrilled with it, and we had no trouble transferring music from iTunes to the player. He did report that after loading it, a few songs just randomly “disappeared.” About two weeks after receiving it, he noticed the battery was getting low so he plugged it into my computer to charge it.The next morning he discovered it was completely dead. We tried several other avenues to recharge it (thinking it might have just been 12-year-old user error), including plugging it into my husband’s computer, all to no avail. Two weeks of use, with no way to fix it. Unbelievable! I wish now that I had taken the time to really read the negative reviews, because apparently this is a common problem. Fortunately, my mother had purchased the insurance program with it (a third party protector), because the only way to contact the Akamate company is via email. The insurance protector gave us an Amazon gift card to make up for it, and you can bet I won’t be spending it by replacing this piece of junk.

This was purchased as a gift for my son, and my first feeling was dread knowing that it didnt have a native program that assisted in uploading music and other files. It works most like early gen ipods where you cant actually do anything with it while it's docked to the computer.It looks nice, and it's a good size. But here are my issues that the google translated user manual couldnt help me with:- It doesnt support all the file types that it says. We uploaded both mp3 and mp4 filetypes of video and music and only a small percentage of the music would play, after the lag. And none of the video files would play.- Uploaded books in .PDF form and none of them would load- when restorying to factory default, nothing actually happened, files were still there.-lag can cause it restart.- website has no manual or help section without contacting them.-Files do not go to the folders where they belong in the default apps-Volume does not go to maxAll in all it was a kind of waste of time to find out that the files would not work despite the long list of accepted filetypes. So we'll be sending it back.
