Kinda sharp and greasy
It arrived fairly sharp but not sharp enough to shave arm hair easily. There was a ton of grease covering the knife. I know it was meant to protect it was rust but I don’t know what kind of oil they used. Is it a good safe oil???? I would have paid a little more if it had the option of a kydex sheath instead of the leather

A knife that you will use!
When I first saw this knife, I thought it looked very much like a BK2. Aside from the blade steel, and lack of coating, It's a little thinner than the bk2. It's just over 3/16 of an inch. Slightly thicker than my LMF2. The tip looks like it will never break, though I haven't tested it. The pummel of the knife does not protrude as much as the bk2, but it is still very functional as a hammer. The handle is thinner than the bk2 which feels "odd" when you are used to the bk2 feel. Got used to it in with in a few minutes. The handle is slick. I may dremel some grooves in it to give me more traction. I like that the handle is Micarta so I can make some bow drill divots in it. Ultimately it's well worth the $. Came hair popping sharp. Sheath is real leather but poorly designed. For the price you are paying for the knife though. Quickly made a Kydex sheath for it. Love this knife, though might make a few modifications.Update: If you are wondering, the BK2/10 handle scales will not fit on this knife. The shape is slightly off, and the holes don't line up.

A high quality, tough built do everything knife that is hair splitting sharp.
I have many knives, some I collect, some I use COLD STEEL, SOGS, SPECIALITY CUSTOM BUILT KNIVES. I liked the looks of this broad swept blade, handle configuration and is somewhat resembling A bk knife but with a more medium grip which I prefer much better. Its very comfortable. The knife blade is made from D-2 steel and has a rockwell hardness of 59 which means this knife will hold an edge far greater than most knives. Its incredible how sharp these knives are, heavy spined, thick blade for tough camp/hunting work and still handle the cook chores. It has become my favorite carry, do all knife. Dont let the out of country MFG scare you as this is a high quality made knife. well balanced. I was so Impressed with this knife I purchased three more as gifts for family and friends.

A very good deal, the knife worth every penny
A very good deal, the knife worth every penny. It came extremely sharp, well packaged very neat, the leather sheath was made it to last. It feels really strong, excellent for every thing you put on it, even the tough activity, this knife is a tank.

Very rugged & sturdy feeling knife
Very rugged & sturdy feeling knife. The finish quality is fair - but at this price point it's completely acceptable. I gave it as a gift so I can't attest to edge holding.

Good solid knife.
This is a good solid knife. Not quite as thick as a bk2 but more than enough. I've read these reviews and would say if you break this knife you have done something VERY EXTREME. The sheath leaves something to be desired but I made a kydex one very easy to do. This knife has no coating on the blade and will strike a ferrocieum rod with the edge of the spine. If Anything this may be more knife than you need for most applications.

Knife & Sheath Arrived RUSTY & MOLDY! Buyer Beware!
I was excited to get this 'mini' version of my BK2 and eagerly waited all week to receive it. When I opened the package I was shocked! To my complete dismay the leather sheath was covered in GREEN MOLD, the fastening screws of the knife were RUSTED (as well as parts of the blade near the pommel) and the entire knife was coated in a fishy smelling grease from end to end. Considering how much plastic wrapping and grease was around it I can't see how any moisture would degrade the knife to the degree it did. Especially since the box was perfect with no signs of water damage. I'm so disappointed with this purchase. To be fair, this review is not about the quality of the materials as the leather sheath did look decently crafted and the knife did as well, especially for a "handmade" knife. However, I was a little suspect of this knife being "D2 tool steel" considering its low cost. There wasn't anywhere on the box or internal packaging saying it's made using "D2 Steel". There was a card included that said it was a high carbon blade and it will rust if not maintained (clearly) but D2 tool steel is a "semi-stainless" with good corrosion resistance. Considering I paid $75 for a rusty knife, I seriously doubt this is actually D2 steel. Would've loved to test it out, but I sent it back. Just disgusted for having received a fishy, rotting knife. This was my first Knife King purchase and it will also be my last. I'll be sticking with reliable quality in my Beckers and Moras from now on.
