LDR 165 9830 Rustic Oak Paper Holder, Oak

The description for this product says the dimensions are 21 x 5.5 x 5 inches. The 21 inch dimension is obviously the width, but the description does not say if the height is 5 inches or 5.5. However, they are close, so it would not matter if the product conformed to any of these dimensions. The product I received is 17 3/16 inches wide, by 2 5/8 inches high by 3 1/2 inches deep. (The deep being the dimension of the pegs above the mounting surface.) Is this even the same product? In addition, there is a hole in the wood that was filed with wood filler that is much lighter than the oak stain used. It makes the product look like junk. Is Amazon becoming an online "dollar store"? I buy stuff at Amazon mostly so I don;t have to hunt it down all over town. Why does Amazon think the only reason people shop here is to get cheap stuff?

Package was open,like it was returned and then sent to me. Toilet paper holder didn't work had two left sides. Towel bar wasn't 24" it was 22". They were nice and sent a replacement pack, fixed the toilet paper holder but the towel bar was 22" not 24". I went to Lowes and bought a 3/4" dowel rod 36" and cut it to 24" and a can of oak poly stain, for $12 I fixed the problem.

I hate towel bars that have that strange little contraption for mounting to the wall. They never work well and so from the time you mount them you're always messing with fixing or adjusting them. This towel bar is very straight forward. You hold it up to the wall you drill the screw through the holes then you do the same at the other end (making sure that you have the room first) put in the wood buttons and voila, it works. And more to the point it's not coming down or is it going to start wiggling

As much as I love the variety of bathroom fixtures out there I am continually highly disappointed with how poor most towel and toilet paper holders hold up on the wall. Without fail, I've had towel bars become loose as well as toilt paper holders. And no, this was not due to my installation as they were preexsting fisxtures. However, this product has never failed me. I've bought both and used them in their wood color as well as painted them to match the bathroom decor. What I like is that both items have actual screw holes so once you place the plastic brackets in the wall and then screw the bars in place they do not move. Where as other metal fixtures, with time and jiggle, become loose, this product has remained firmly affixed to the wall.

The screw in Mounir and the peg are completely different colors. Looks goofy. Will attempt to re-stain, but in all likelihood, will not use.

I was very excited to receive this item but I am missing the pole part that holds the in place between the 2 stands. I'm not satisfied

I'm looking for a darker oak and I believed this was a darker (rustic) oak as it 's name states, but it is light, more honey oak. Not at all what I wanted, so I returned it

This is the only light wood colored towel rack I could find anywhere- online or in stores- so I had to pretty much buy this if I wanted a round towel rack to match the wood in my bathroom. It came on time but was incredibly dusty- not just the outside packaging, but the rack itself was dusty and needed cleaning when I took it out of the package. One of the wooden pieces that holds the round part was cracked as well- but not badly enough for me to want to pay shipping to have it shipped back to the seller. It's also a little out of proportion- the round part looks too big for the mounting, in my opinion.

I needed to replace my original pine towel rail and was absolutely amazed that I had to get one from the USA - AND even that was imported from China !!! Rather annoyed that whilst the towel rail was pretty good value and matched my old one almost exactly that the import fees were quite high. It's a shame that despite a comprehensive search of the UK I couldn't find anywhere that could offer me the same product. I will try to avoid import fees if possible but after BREXIT that's going to be impossible now !

I love this 5 stars but could of been a bit cheaper

as described. I had thought it was the type with the horizontal bar going through the sides of a looped end piece, and thereforeadjustable, but the ends are closed. I will keep it anyway as it does look nice and not cheap as I could not tell online.Comes with wood plugs to cover the screws and screw wall plugs which is a plus.

This is a nice set and it was at a good price. I went to order another one and the price went up quite a bit.
