Niwaki Crean Mate

Bought this for a second time -very effective at cleaning my secateurs and keeping them looking new

This 'stone' works like magic. The rust and sap staining comes off like an eraser rubbing pencil from paper. Excellent piece of kit.

We bought this to clean our Japanese shears and we now use it on all our garden blades. Dip it into water and it cleans all the muck off in seconds. Truly a great buy.

I picked this up to deal with some rust and plant sap on my really infrequently used garden tools. So sheers, secateurs, trowel and weeding tools.Originally I balked at the price for this Niwaki Crean Mate but after watching a Youtube review from a UK based gardener called Garden Ninja and using the block myself, I definitely recommend it.It makes short work of rust and plant sap. It just take a bit of wetting with water (or oil) and then rubbing across the implement of choice. Then you can wipe off the residue.

Amazing little product! I was hesitating due to the steep price but in the end I'm very satisfied. It does a stunning job on old gunky metal. With a drop of camellia oil and a short rubbing it restored my bonsai sears. Worked similarly well on scissors around the house which got sticky from all the xmas cellotaping.

Good little product for cleaning substances off garden blades.

Excellent. I arrange the flowers for my church. I have @ 6/7 pairs of secateurs and I can’t get them sharpened. Decided to invest in the Crean Mate and Sharpener and made my husband watch the video! He’s working his way through all my floral knives and implements which are all so much better at the job they’re supposed to do. Thank you!

A strange eraser that really cleans my Niwaki shears without ruining the really cool patina on them.I use it like an eraser with camelia oil and it takes the sap off so fast.Its small but it rubs down slowly so this will last me ages. Its still big enough that it wont fall out of your hands
