Niman Ranch, Sausage Bratwurst Pork, 12 Ounce

I am not sure what traditional Bratwurst tastes like, so please keep this in mind regarding my review. I bought this on a whim because I was craving bangers and mash, took a chance on bratwurst and this brand and am so glad I did. It is clean tasting, mild, and delicious. Went perfectly with my homemade mashed potatoes. I will purchase again.

I don't eat meat with no expiration date.

I have lived in Germany and am a big fan of good bratwurst. These are much better than than the typical bratwurst available in US grocery stores. Good value for money, would definitely recommend.

Sausages, yes, and they taste fairly good. But there's no way these are bratwurst. Not even close.

The pork is high quality and taste is great, but there was much more run off than mass market brands, and even after being thoroughly cooked, had a greasy mouth feel.

Pros: precookedCons: very tough skin, marked lack of tenderness of the interior meat, lack of flavorWill be sticking with our known-good Whole Foods meat counter bratwursts in future. (NB: not all Whole Foods meat counters are equal.)

VERY tough skin, mild filling - not very good. Would not buy again.

Easy to cook and great tasting! Quality product!
