I've used this product and the official GoPro magnetic swivel clip extensively over the course of 1-2 years and I have declared this clip as my preferred accessory.While not magnetic, the clip itself just holds up better than the official GoPro clip, this clip is steady and secure, has some depth to it which helps provide stability, a straight POV, and prevent camera movement when in action.The official GoPro clip has left me discontent with my content on numerous occasions whether it be the clip not being as secure causing a slightly sagged POV, or just too much camera movement ruining footage.I could nitpick certain things for this product like having to tighten the screws on occasion after you've rotated the clip a few times, but at the end of the day this clip isn't even 50% of the cost of the GoPro Magnetic Swivel Clip so it gets my vote as the go-to clip accessory for these action cameras..

This works great for recording while fishing. It's universal and very affordable. The clamping strength is good and hold onto hats well.

This clip is great to add an extra camera hold to a backpack strap or even to clip to the edge of a piece of plywood or something like that to have an additional camera mount or angle.The clip is super sturdy, very strong. Made of a hard plastic. Not flimsy or brittle at all. Really great to go hands free and have a POV view. Great add to a content creator kit.

Me and some buddies went on a fishing trip and I wanted to catch all the fish AND ALL THE ACTION!Mounted my GoPro in this clamp, then clamped it on my hat. It stayed strong and stable for hours!

I bought this cause I’m sick of the number obsoletion. Like Sony or Xbox or anything. Make one that’s awesome and that’s it. Done! Stop cookie cutting! This is a great camera and it’s gonna see allot of adventures.

Doesn’t align perfectly with GoPro “arms”. It will fit but there is a gap that probably causes stress on the hinges on the GoPro mounting arms when tightened down. Works well otherwise.
