EVT Urethane Pump Washer

This little washer rejuvenated my Air Hammer floor pump. The previous washer had become loose due to years of use. Now, if I could only find a new air gauge for the pump. I dropped something on it years ago and cracked the glass.

Rubber is very stiff and has not broke in after a few months. No other options though at the time of purchase. It does seal but have to push it in and the twist to get it on correctly on the valve stem.

It's a little stiff and wants to spring back off the valve stem. I'm hoping it will break in and get better. If not, I'll be going back to the black rubber. Really tough to put on stem if you have high profile rims and no air at all in tube.

I took a chance on this since there were no reviews and I was afraid it would be too inflexible to hold an air seal, but I took the chance and it ended up working perfectly. Not sure how it keeps the pressure in, since it does seem kind of rigid, but somehow it works.

Pump washer shipped fast, fits the Silca pump, and works great.

At first glance I thought it would be very hard, but it slips onto the valve quite easily. Hopefully, being made of urethane and costing 8 bucks, it will last a long time.

works well or better than the original rubber one ...easier to slide on and off
